I question religion all the time. Religion is man made ideas and traditions based on what they think God wants us to do.
However, having Gods word at my finger tips, I don't need to ask "what if" I just need to read. The answers are there, He said they were.

Because they hate the tax-writeoffs they get from religion. If they can convince enough people that Christianity isn't a religion, they'll get to pay tax again.
At least that's what it looks like to me.
Trinity = man made idea and tradition.
Bible = man made collection of books.
Christianity = man made ideas and traditions.
Bible answers = man made interpretations of a man made collection of writings, written by men.
Your philosophy = devoid of any philosophical credulity.
This puts me in mind of the allegory of Plato's cave. The other fundies are still chained to the wall, but bold, open-minded Funmudder is able to move. And he's using his freedom to shuffle round in tiny circles, tripping over shit.
Irenaeus of Lugdunum. He specified that four, and only four, Gospels would be included. He decried the "heresies" that would have presented the Christ, and the blaspheming ego known as God, in what I believe is the proper perspective. The other Disciples were quite literate and produced their own Gospels, you know. The bible doesn't give a hint of that, does it?
Saul of Tarsus. He pulled some truly poisonous shit out of his ass. I mean, what's with this proleptic myth that the perfect and serene archetype of humanity would return at some unspecified time to kick ass? Saul knew that the earliest writings would be given the greatest authority, and he didn't waste any time corrupting Christ's message. That was his duty as a Pharisee.
The word of "God"...Love ME and ME alone, or suffer for eternity.
Fuck yourself, Yaldabaoth, you immortal ignorant hemorrhoid.
Oh fuck this again.
Christianity: the religion derived from Jesus Christ, based on the Bible as sacred scripture, and professed by Eastern, Roman Catholic, and Protestant bodies Merriam-Webster Dictionary
And if there's only one God, why are there so many different books out in his name?
However, having the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster at my finger tips, I don't need to ask "what if"; I just need to read. The answers are there. He, in His Noodly wisdom, said they were. RAmen.

that’s funny. See, you missed a step.
Few hundred years after Christ’s time (allegedly), Constantine vowed to make the Roman Empire Christain.
But no one knew what that meant.
After Christ was here, the people who identified as Christains were all over the map. Jesus was part of God, Jesus was similar to God, Jesus had died on the Cross, jesus had substituted the Trickster and SATAN died on the cross, all sorts of conflicting dogma.
So, councils were formed and men determined just what dogma was actually Christain. It was like a great big game of monopoly. Whoever controlled the most believers won. Losers got exiled to shut them up. Took forever, but they came up with the Articles of the Faith.
THOSE were used to decide which books were added together to form the Bible.
Man’s committees edited God’s word that you hold as superior to Men’s efforts.
Confused?
