Why would a loving God, a God who is described as pure love, condemn any of his children to Hell? This is very a common question especially among those who don’t believe the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, or who have little to no Bible knowledge. Believe it or not even Christians ask this question, and few are able to give a sound, Biblical answer.
A common statement from non-believers is “My god would never send anyone to Hell, he’s a loving god. Only an evil god would create people and then send them to Hell.” Good point, but since these folks are non-believers their god is Satan. And his main modus operandi is to convince man that he is god and that he would never send anyone to Hell. Well he certainly isn’t God, but he is very efficient and persuasive when it comes to promoting his lies. After all he’s been at it for 6,000 years give or take a year or so.

SO with other words, Satan is a true loving god, whereas the god of the christians is not?
Well, considering the fact that thousands of people (according to the bible) were killed by godor by order from god, while none (or almost none) were killed by Satan, thisnobviously seems to be a correct assumption ;)
Non-belief doesn't work that...
...I give up. But since you say Christians ask the same question, surely the only possible answers are:
1) Even asking that question means you're a Satanist deserving of hellfire, or
2) God isn't a loving god, or
3) both.
So, which is it?
"since these folks are non-believers their god is Satan. And his main modus operandi is to convince man that he is god and that he would never send anyone to Hell."
Or perhaps he convinces people that their prejudices are actually God's will and they should despise, hate, and belittle those people they dislike. That way they fill their hearts and lives with hate and bile, wishing for the day they will join their spiteful, malevolent god in heaven to spend eternity revelling in the endless torment of their "enemies". That way they not only f*** up their life, but spend an eternity in the company of those they never learned to love, forever disappointed that God didn't live down to their expectations.
Or maybe none of it exists and this is the only life you get. In which case spending it hating someone else for nothing seems like the ultimate waste of time.
Believe it or not even Christians ask this question, and few are able to give a sound, Biblical answer.
And Ron happens to be one of these christians.
Sorry, but I have many deities that I ascribe natural forces and attributes to, and none of them are anything like Christianity's Satan. Even the deities themselves aren't all that important; the process of examining oneself, working to right one's own wrongs and becoming more in tune with the natural world and our fellow man is way more important that chanting to deities.
But Satan, biblically speaking, doesn't send anyone to Hell. At best, he tricks people into behaving in ways that make God do it.
...so you completely and totally dodged the question.
"A common statement from non-believers is 'My god would never send anyone to Hell, he’s a loving god. Only an evil god would create people and then send them to Hell.' Good point, but since these folks are non-believers their god is Satan."
So not only does he dodge the criticism, failing to address the immoral emotional sadism that is the doctrine of hell, he then goes on to accuse all non-Christians of being satanists.
I love it. This is what I come to this site for. It's so painfully retarded it's amusing.
So Satan rewards his followers consistently, whereas God is just kind of random and autistic about it. Got it.
How does this make Satan bad, again?
And you'll be answering this concern soon, I hope...? Bcause as it stands, God still seems like a petty child, condemning people infinitely, for finite, weird, and/or downright petty sins.
So Satan would send people to heaven, but your god sends them to hell?
I think I'll sign up with satan. I'll bring my iron chariot so your god can't defeat us.
In other words:
Rationalist: "I don't think a truly loving god would send his creation to eternal fire."
Fundie: "You disagree with the bible! You're a satanist!"
Intelligent logic there, no, not really.
Ron does go on to answer the question, after much rambling, by suggesting that people send themselves to Hell by choosing not to believe.
He didn't explain the mechanism that works between "choosing not to believe" and "ending up in Hell" however.
Yeah, just look at all those satanic churchs,,oh wait,,,there aren't any (Anton Levey's an Atheist)
Well then, let's look at ancient Satanic churchs,,,oh wait,,there aren't any, ever! Mostly because Satan's a recent invention and hardly spoken of in the Bible.
Not only did you skip around explaining why God would send anyone to Hell, you just made a case for worshipping Satan.
And then you tried to be cute with the "give or take a year" bit, as if you know anything.
"A common statement from non-believers is “My god would never send anyone to Hell, he’s a loving god. Only an evil god would create people and then send them to Hell.” Good point, but since these folks are non-believers their god is Satan"
Frankly, Satan is more deserving of belief & worship than your so-called 'God':

And seeing as I've never killed anyone in my life, nor do I want to ever, thus I'm (certainly morally) superior to God, therefore I'm more worthy of belief & worship than Satan. Ergo, I'm more worthy of belief and worship than God, everyone on Ruptured Retards. QED
When you've built those Temples of the Great and Superior to God Anon-e-moose, Ron & everyone on RR, let me know, m'kay? At least I'll be able to actually appear in such, to receive your praises and worship. Can you say the same for your so-called 'God. Has he ever physically appeared at any of your churches, fundies?
;)
Mr. Graham doesn't seem to be interested in actually answering the question. It is a pity, since it is a valid question and a common criticism.
Is this "Wrong, you are going to Hell" attitude what is reducing christianity's numbers. Answering this or simply admitting ignorance is the attitude a christian (or simply any decent human being) should have. Worshiping an omnicient God does not make the followers all-knowing.
Honestly, the way these fundies describe their God sounds like the kind of nut job who (were he human) would be looked upon as the national ass-hole for going around killing people that don't worship him and telling off women for wearing pants. Whereas their "Satan" sounds like the kind of humane, thoughtful, somehow badass, guy who I'd end up being friends with...
Funny, huh?
"Only an evil god would create people and then send them to Hell.” Good point, but since blah blah blah...."
Thank you for admitting that only an evil gawd would create people and then send them to Hell. AND since it was YOUR gawd that created those people, and YOUR gawd that determines who goes to hell, well.....figure it out from there Ron.
"After all he’s been at it for 6,000 years give or take a year or so."
Oh no, he didn't!!
The Universe and everything in it is 6,000 years old and anyone who believes it is one second older will burn in Hell for a thousand eternities!
Have fun pushing that bolder, Ron.
Confused?
