PLEASE THINK ABOUT THIS: If 97% of all whites voted for John McCain, would it be called RACISM? Just like what SaneChick said, look at the results of the presidential elections when the canidates on both the Democratic and Republican parties were all white.

Democrats had large leads among women and blacks (and to a certain extent other ethnic minorities) before they started running female and black candidates, because they say things that make women and minorities think they're on their side. Republicans don't even pay lip service to the idea of women's rights or racial equality or helping the poor. They just shit all over everyone who's not a WASP male and then wonder why the people they just shat on don't vote for them.

Yes, OK, over 90% of black people voted for Obama in the last election. Guess who got over 90% of the black vote six years ago? That's right -- John Kerry. This has very little to do with racism on the part of the black people, and a whole hell of a lot to do with how the GOP alienated the entire black voting bloc over the last sixty years or so.
In other words, the black voting demographic has been very influenced by racism. But not theirs. Yours.
Since Obama won by a quite wide majority, am I inclined to say that whites are racists too?. What about Clinton, or Bush, for that matter?
I came here to make fun of the idiot who doesn't realize that blacks have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats since the Democratic President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965-- the federal laws responsible for actually ending legal segregation and institutional mechanisms designed to keep blacks from voting.
