[Commenting after he and several others crucify and murder a schizophrenic nun]
I don't understand why journalists are making such a fuss about this.

Keep him secure; give him the fairest trial you can. If he is found guilty, or if he is found to be insane, lock him up, throw away the key, and weld the freakin' cell door shut.

and this is why fundamentalism is dangerous: it "permits" its adherents to commit evil acts without appreciating the evil they do. "God" will validate their actions since they're done in his name.
However, would they have done this to a person with power or powerful connections? If not, then they committed what they knew was a crime.
I think arguably the most monstrous thing about this is not only did you crucify her, but you didn't even bother to make sure the temperature of the room was comfortable or even to give her FOOD OR WATER.
What the fuck is wrong with you and why are you still alive to give comments?
Another ghastly quote from the BBC article:
Father Daniel who is accused of orchestrating the crime is said to be unrepentant.
"God has performed a miracle for her, finally Irina is delivered from evil," AFP quoted the priest as saying.
She died, therefore she is "finally delivered from evil". Well, 'Father' Daniel, I am at a loss of words. May you rot in prison.
Ah, the continuing saga of the cartoon-villain Catholic Church.
Add this to raping children, stealing babies from single mothers and refusing to save a woman's life by terminating a doomed pregnancy.

"I don't understand why journalists are making such a fuss about this."
Several centuries ago, the Catholic Church had absolute power over most of Europe. Absolute.
Today, in 2011, the Catholic Church can do diddly-squat about secularism today. Sweet F.A.
Centuries ago, anyone daring to complain about the church's activities, would be subject to the tender mercies of the Inquisition. In 2011, even Ratzy the Nazi - former head of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith (the cuddly, user-friendly term for the Inquisition ), prior to becoming Pope Benedict XVI - is subject to his own Inquisition, with all the court cases against paedophile priests by their former victims; the P.R. nightmare as a result of such. Precisely why the journalists are making a fuss - and not just over said kiddy-diddling priests, neither.
