When I said during my presidential bid that I would only bring Christians and Jews into the government, I hit a firestorm. "What do you mean?" the media challenged me. "You're not going to bring atheists into the government? How dare you maintain that those who believe in the Judeo-Christian values are better qualified to govern America than Hindus and Muslims?" My simple answer is, "Yes, they are."

It sounds like a lie to me. But the constitution makes clear that the vetting process cannot depend on religion. It was never a conspiracy for an atheistic government, that's your false conspiracy theory and straw man. It's for the separation of church and state, necessary to prevent the kind of abuses Robertson hoped for, like persecuting those he falsely declares to be heretic and replacing the government by a corrupt mob. Atheists were always a minority in the US as well as in the government. There was no US president claiming to be atheist yet, even. Bullshit for Satan (vs "lying for Jesus", because Jesus wouldn't accept the hypocrite, he'd tell him to quit politics, to stop stealing from his fidels, pay his taxes and to donate his money to the poor instead, to stop being a bigot: but that's "woke" for Robertson).
