[Top Reason Why Liberals Hate The Holidays]
Christmas celebrates a birth, not an abortion.

Mischaracterizations such as this shameless innuendo are sheer fabrication; and if they were to be applied to specific individuals instead of vaguely defined groups ("liberals"), they would surely be actionable as libel.
Next thing you know, these people will call out the Swift Boat Veterans.

Nah it's just the faux-literalism that gets up your nose.
Jesus wasn't born on December 25, it's a hijacking on the midwinter solstice. "Yes he was! Yes he was! You have to take these things literally..."
OK. Jesus wasn't the son of God, he was the bastard son of a carpenter. "No he wasn't! No he wasn't! ...."
ooooh, yeh, I always knew there was a reason I hated christmas. Thanks for making it so clear to me, Knight.
The only people who really 'celebrate' Christmas are those following the ancient winter celebrations of Family, Feast and having fun.
People who hang around churchs, praying and singing to a ficticious deity aren't the ones enjoying the season
Accepting that the winter solstice represents the 'death' of one solar year and 'birth' of another, I can understand the Saturnalia, the Sol Invictus observances, and indeed the death and resurrection theme in general. An advent-ageous [:/] time to assign to the birth of a mythical savior entity.
Knight's 'god-the-father' is the abortion.
Confused?
