IF WOMEN knew the truth about the causes of breast cancer, would they behave with such silliness and immodesty at breast cancer fundraising events such as the recent Moonwalk in London? Would they be so enthusiastic about supporting the organizations that are, if not lying to them, at least consistently downplaying the truth?
The truth is, feminism causes breast cancer.
Abortion, delayed childbearing, childlessness, lack of breastfeeding, the birth control pill – many medical experts agree these phenomena, all abundantly supported by feminists, are connected to the striking increase in breast cancer in Western women.

It has to be said:
Citation needed - and names of the "many medical experts" or it's just something you pulled from your anus.
[citation fucking needed]
At least the abortion/breast cancer claim has long been debunked, and I'm sure that the rest of those claims would easily be as well. Childlessness causes breast cancer? Well too bad for all the infertile women in the world, then.
Looked it up: American Cancer Society "Several studies have provided very strong data that neither induced abortions nor spontaneous abortions (miscarriages) have an overall effect on the risk of breast cancer."
Delayed childbearing(waiting til 30+), childlessness, and lack of breastfeeding increase risk slightly , as does continuous oral birth control usage. But only *slightly*!
If by experts you mean Andrew Schlafly, then yes.
But I thought the consensus was that Laura Wood is really Lawrence Auster. I thought at least he would be embarrassed by the modern conservatives... Now I'm beginning to wonder why I thought that.
If by 'many medical experts' you mean crackpot religious fanatics with no actual medical training, who are all about the pious fraud, then yes, you are totally right.

Even if true, I'd rather run teh risk than pop out babies I don't want.

That, or just living for longer.
I assume all the other factors, such as gender and genes are lies because they don't support your faulty premise?
Breast feeding for more than two years seems to show a correlation with a slightly reduced risk of breast cancer. That is not the same as, "not breast feeding increases your risk of breast cancer."
Being of the white race is an increased risk factor by the way.
Actually, those increase your risk by a very small amount. Being overweight, smoking, drinking, and getting your first period before 12 can also slightly increase your risk. Why aren't you bitching about those factores?
To anyone who doesn't already do this, please, for the love of logic, do a quick google search before declaring something a ridiculous lie. These claims are not news. The relationship between early/frequent childbearing and reduced risk of breast cancer later in life is fairly widely recognised. From what I could tell the support for contraception being a risk varies from study to study, but certainly anything that increases the level of estrogen - an identified carcinogen - in your body is not totally implausible as a cancer risk. Just because something is stated in a quote does not make it something only an idiot would even consider.
What Laura does not seem to realise is that none of that is a convincing argument against feminism. She wants to make other people's medical decisions for them, rather than educate them and let them make their own choices. Modern societies tend to take it as a fundamental principle that just because you think someone's choices are stupid doesn't mean you get to interfere with them. If you want to take the risk, that's your life, your call. If Laura wants to keep herself continuously pregnant, that's her call - and she can thank feminism that she gets to make it for herself.
Well, this is easily demonstrably true or false. I wonder if the OP checked the Breast Cancer statistics of non-Western cultures.
Doubt it. Most fundtards cite their own ass.
"Abortion, delayed childbearing, childlessness, lack of breastfeeding, the birth control pill [...] connected to the striking increase in breast cancer"
Correlation does not equal causation. Considering that there are a lot of OTHER factors similar across "western" societies, there could easily be a much more potent element that contributes to breast cancer.
@Gloria
Thank you for that. I was about to join in the [citation needed] quips, before your comment made me realise it might be beneficial to do some research anyway.
@Thinking Allowed
An example does not equal a thesis; most trends, no matter how strong, have their exceptions.
"many medical experts agree these phenomena, all abundantly supported by feminists, are connected to the striking increase in breast cancer in Western women. "
Fundies posing as medical experts make this claim. Actual medical experts say you're full of shit.
I notice you emphasize women, put it in all caps denoting contempt to boot. Further use of 'they' instead of 'we' indicates separation, tone suggests contempt again.
From your choice of language alone I infer that you are male long before pondering your conspicuous lack of familiarity with the daily life and concerns of a woman from any walk of life or your belief that men must dominate all aspects of existence.
Following your logic, my friends sisters, her mother, and several of her aunts would still be alive. They were practicing Christians, did not use birth control, never had abortions, and all had children they breastfed. Yet they all died of breast cancer.
Laura Woods, you are a gullible tool of the fundies.
OK, before feminism. . .
No, further back. . .
Before women had the vote, before they had any legal rights, when they were just property of their male relatives, baby machines, giving birth again and again until it killed them, no woman died of breast cancer.
Madam, you are a disgrace to the female sex.
The pill can indeed have some undesired side effects, like blood clots especially in older women or women who are smokers. However, most medication have unintended side effects and it is between a patient and the dr. to decide if the positive outweigh the negative. That is true for all medication, including birth control.
