We do have the right, actually, as an act of self preservation. You see, we want to make our world healthier for ourselves by spreading the light of facts, logic, and critical thinking, rather than letting some idiotic mystical belief system that has the audacity to call itself "the truth" run unchecked.
How do you know what to believe if no-one has the right to teach anyone about God?
Actually, the teachers have the right to teach the kids everything they know. When the kids have grown up enough to make decisions, they can then decide for themselves what to believe.

So, the next time a xtian comes to me preaching, and I inform said person that I have considered xtianity, and even was at one time, but have, from my own free will and dictates of my mind, chosen Buddhism, that I can pretty much do to them as I please if they persist? Great.

I don’t think you CAN teach anyone anything contrary to their beliefs.
You can change their understanding, and what they accept, and what they practice, but their beliefs will stick in their craw.
Confused?
