no it's prolife. not prochoice if we all wanted to be prochoice it would be okay for people to CHOOSE to murder and rape people because ABORTION is murder. she chose to have sex she needs to suffer abortion is wrong you shouldn't make bad choices and be able to murder your child

Reasons I'm "Pro-Choice"/"Pro-Abortion":
1) We already have WAY too many people on this planet.
2) If the mother cannot care for the child, public child care options are underfunded and insufficient as it is. We don't need to burden them further until we improve them.
3) Forcing a mother to harbor something inside her body against her will is clearly worse than rape and is arguably on the same level as slavery. I, personally, would rather die than be a slave.
4) There is no such thing as a soul, get over it. The only value an unborn child has is potential, but such a thing is inherently unknowable. As such, the decision of what to do with that child lies entirely with the mother.
5) If you want to outlaw abortion, why not take it a step further and outlaw contraception? Why not outlaw masturbation? Spilling your seed for anything other than procreation is a sin! Er... I mean, we're killing trillions of potential children. Yeah. It's a very slippery slope, guys.

Please throw your organism in the glowing hot gases produced by the rapid oxidation of organic matter, in order to join said oxidation process until the termination of the biological functions that define yourself as a living being.
no it's prolife. not prochoice if we all wanted to be prochoice it would be okay for people to CHOOSE to murder and rape people because ABORTION is murder. Even if (!) abortion = murder, where does rape get into the equitation?
she chose to have sex she needs to suffer Misogyny for The Lord. Better Education could prevent a lot of unwanted pregnancies, but guess who is funda-mental opposed to it? Oh, and what if she didn't choose, but was raped? Nah, who am I kidding, you don't care.
abortion is wrong you shouldn't make bad choices and be able to murder your child And here we turn full circle, because you always assume abortion = murder. And thus pro choice = MURDERER!!!

Ah, the dirty truth. Thanks for admitting it. Although I'm quite sure just having sex with hilhal would be punishment enough for anyone.
I pretty much agree with #1136144 (aside from the "there is no soul" part, but even then, there's no way of knowing an unborn's full potential value). Nice to see them no longer trying to hide the fact that they think women need to be punished for doing something that gad himself invented.
So what about women who get raped and end up pregnant? Did she choose to have sex, does she deserve to suffer even more? What if they don't have the money to care for it? What if the pregnancy becomes ectopic? Not every pregnancy is perfect after all.
Thanks for admitting what you really think, that women should suffer since they have the uterus and vagina.
"she chose to have sex she needs to suffer"
At last, confirmation of what I've suspected all along. They don't really care about life, it's all about punishing the slut with motherhood. It's not about trying to save innocent babies, it's all about trying to control everyone's sex lives.
Reason why I'm prochoice: even without abortion clinics, desperate women and girls will still abort. I'd just much rather see them go to a clinic and come out alive and well than see them try dirty coathangers in back alleys (or worse). Having access to abortion clinics also helps reduce the number of newborns abandoned in dumpsters to slowly freeze/starve to death (a far worse fate than that of a fetus with no consciousness being sucked out of the womb and instantly killed).
Oh, and the idea that sex is a sin that needs to be punished with childbirth is extremely offensive to me. Not only do I believe that the ability to procreate is a sacred thing, that sex is something truly special that can bring two people closer together, but that the choice to give birth is something sacred that should be celebrated. The idea that childbirth is a punishment is an insult to the child and both parents.

Whoops. Perhaps you'd like to take that back, now that you've said what everyone knows about your pro-life stance.
Pro-life is anti-woman and anti-sex.
First off, punctuation is your friend. I usually let silly little errors slide by because I don't want to focus on them, but holy moly. I count about six sentences in there and only two periods.
Second: "it would be ok for people to choose murder and rape (?!) because abortion is murder." Your leap of logic has tried to fly, but instantly crashed into the bottom of a canyon.
Seriously, I wish M-Preg was possible so these men would figure out that being pregnant sucks.
not prochoice if we all wanted to be prochoice it would be okay for people to CHOOSE to murder and rape people
You can't murder a non-person. Sure, the line can be blurry but luckily most abortions take place before the line is even approached (the rest are only ever done in the case of emergencies).
she chose to have sex she needs to suffer
As many others here have said, it's not always a choice. In fact, a common situation (if not the most common) for abortions is after a rape. Of course, you're probably one of those assholes that thinks raped women are "asking for it" so I doubt my point would ever get through to you. Also, why does the woman have to suffer for sex while the man doesn't? Why does sex have to result in suffering at all?
"she chose to have sex she needs to suffer"
Well, he gets points for being honest.
Hey Halil, what's your address, I'll post it so that women who are forced to keep an unwanted pregnancy can send the baby to you to raise.
@Jezebel's Evil Sister: you win the internet!
Anyone remember those abortion clinics that the 'pro-lifers' blew up, and the innocent people killed therein?
I think hilhal would like you to forget...
I think 'Pro-Life' is a misnomer. Really, it should be 'Anti-Choice'.
No, she doesn't "need" to suffer. This is thanks to modern technology, enlightenment, and...um...rights.
Also, nice "prolife" attitude of yours that sees pregnancy/baby as punishment.
Epic fail.
Life as a punishment for sex. Nice. And they call themselves pro-life? More like anti-sex or something...
Also, randomly capitalized, non-punctuated wharrgarbl.
"she chose to have sex she needs to suffer"
Say that to the countless rape victims who get pregnant by the rapists, or the women who are forced into a life-and-death situation while pregnant.
heres a thought... try to keep up with me on this...
how do you know that this abortion procedure or "murder/rape" as you put it, is NOT God's will? Or that it isnt meant to happen or the right choice? Ok... lets say you save the babies life and the mother decides not to abort... but then something horrible happens later on down the line:
example - the mom cannot afford to take care of the baby. its bounced from home to home. or starves and suffers most of the time. it becomes withdrawn and violent or vicious... or hateful... the product of a poor insufficient or broken home? it grows up to be a terrible person. then goes out into the already fucked up enough world it lives in to become a rapist or homocidal evil whackjob. then completing the cycle of how it got here in the first place (if the mother had been raped) and then makes more children like it come into this world and fuck things up all over again?
now say this other option occurs:
the mother aborts and this would be evil hearted fucked up kid doesnt have the chance to do all these bad things or live this fucked up life?
the other option is: she gets lucky... has the baby and keeps it.. and despite all hardships it has a good life and things turn out ok or better.
in short.. WHO ARE YOU TO SAY THIS CHILD SHOULD LIVE OR DIE? Do you know its outcome? Do you know the life it will live? Do you know its future potential or what it will be capable of? NO. YOU DONT. Cuz you are NOT GOD. Let God make this decision through fate and chance. All things happen for a reason right? And its Gods will whatever outcome it will be? Live by your words then... dont just preach them.... stupid.
Wow, what honesty! "She chose to have sex, she needs to suffer."
So, I guess you pro-life types are strong anti-war and anti-gun types too, right, since both war and guns damage and extinguish people's lives.
You know, people that can actually feel the pain and can have fear of dying.
Murder is the killing of a human being with sense of self, ability to feel pain and the ability to sustain life on its own.
None of these things apply to a lump of cells that has a 75 % chance of becoming a human being in six months or so.
I don't normally comment on archived quotes BUT
"she had sex she needs to suffer"
Here is what the pro-life abortion issue is all about. It has nothing to do with the embryo and everything to do with the subjugation of women.
She chose to have sex [outside of marriage]; she needs to suffer. Abortion is wrong - you shouldn't make [a] bad choice and [then] be able to murder your child.
And there's the crux of the whole thing. It also explains why the same people against abortions are also against contraception - because 'you shouldn't be able to make "bad" choices and then get out of having to suffer the consequences', as it were.
I suspect that the quote reflects old pre-industrial attitudes that probably had more legitimacy back when society was severely patriarchal and had no reliable or working forms of BC. Being a single mother in a patriarchal society would be all but impossible (since women were so severely limited in what they could do), and the only sure ways to prevent a (full) pregnancy in an era where nobody actually knew how babies were made would be abstinence or abortion - and abortions were risky.
I guess the question is why some groups of people seemingly have such a hard time abandoning the old lines of thought when it's clear that the civilization around them has so drastically changed as to render them illogical.
Confused?
