[It might be a bad idea to support Trump closing mosques, because it will take away our constitutional freedoms]

Does the constitution allow for Christian impostors, hiding their true beliefs in order to destroy ours from the inside? Or any other impostors posing as Christians? Smiling on the outside with an opposite plan on the inside? Spiritual decay HAS won; What do you call 60,000,000 abortions in America alone. God installed His truth in only one faith, and now nobody seems to know how to find it. What is more important? I would intervene in a charitable way if I knew that spreading true faith would help keep someone out of eternal, you know where. Our Constitution allows all faiths, does God?

The Constitution has freedom of religion, whether you're an impostor or not doesn't matter.

You have citation for that number of abortions, of course? Is that per year? If so, 37 percent of the women in the US have an abortion each year (children and old ladies included). God has no problem with abortions, according to the Bible, life begins with a breath. Or, did you mean spontaneous abortions (aka miscarriage)? Yeah, then that figure might be correct, if you mean America, the continents.

God has delivered three different version of His Truth; the Jewish, the Christian and the Muslim, and man's quibbling about the interpretations of these has led to thousands of different denominations of each.

God seems to be happy with the last version he left on Earth, as he's been quiet since. If you think God only allows one faith, you'd better convert to Islam. The question is, Sunni or Shia, or Wahhabi or...

I don't see anything in the Constitution which prevents it. In fact, I think that falls under the free exercise clause. Not only is there no religious test to hold public office, but there's no religious test to attend any particular church. But I guess if your church wants to keep out the "not true Christians," feel free to exclude them. Just don't complain when the collection plate dries up.

And what does all this have to do with illegally and unconstitutionally shutting down Muslim mosques? There has to be a principle which explains the tendency for Christian fundies to turn any internet discussion into an anti-abortion rant.

Fail. That is not what Trump supports anyway. He said "some" mosques and only those that are extremist would have to be closed.

A move that is perfectly reasonable if it can be proven in a court of law that any particular mosque is credibly working towards the overthrow of the US government or provides moral or material support for terrorists (AQ, Hamas, IS/ISIS etc.)

The idea that sedition, conspiracy for sedition, and treason (all of which Islamic supremacists both in and outside the US support) are protected by the 1st amendment is about as ludicrous as the idea that free markets must tolerate the slave trade or that the 1st amendment protects child porn for that matter.

Freedom isn't a license to do anything you want, it comes with the responsibility not to violate other people's rights and not destroy the country you're part of.

It's not based on the religion, I don't care about religion, if you are part of an ideology (whether that's religious, secular, atheistic etc.) that has in its teachings the necessity to wage warfare against outsiders of that ideology, then that is a cause for concern and should be more than enough probable cause for intelligence agencies to monitor your activity in some way. That's what they're supposed to do, look for threats against national security, sedition being one.

I say that about self-described Nazi groups, is that "Naziphobia"? I say that about Marxist-Leninist groups, is that "communismphobia"?

You want rights? Accept the responsibilities that comes along with it and stop making excuses for sedition.
