[Pagans in prison are to be allowed religious paraphernalia]
Conservative MP Andrew Turner, who uncovered the new ruling, added: "This strikes me as bizarre. A lot of people would be worried about equating paganism with Christianity."

Well, Andrew, that would be because there is little difference between them. Different dogmas and attitudes, but all abstract concepts with little basis in reality.
Who equates Paganism with Christianity?
Is there really anyone crazy or stupid enough not to realise they are two different thinks?!
I mean, that would be like equating Islam with Satanism, and we certainly never see- Oh, wait...
IOW we're not all as stupid as you.
I have no information on this new ruling.
Therefore, I have no option but to conclude that the pagans in question will be allowed to practice animal sacrifice and have heavy crystal skulls, both of which put dangerous items in the hands of convicted criminals.
Yep, that's right. I have no information, so I'm forced to conclude the worst. Completely logical, that.
Yes, because Pagans worship evergreen trees in the winter and eggs and rebirth in the spring and Christians worship errm, wait hang on, I can work this one out...
And why wouldn't paganism be equal to christianity?
You have crosses and bibles, why shouldn't they be allowed whatever they require?
Just to add my vote to people who don't trust The Daily Mail...
You know, the guy who used to edit it now works for our local paper. He told some people I know to do some skateboarding tricks, claiming he was doing an article on that in St. Austell. He then printed the photo with an article about rowdy teens in a nearby village. >.<
Where d'you think Christianity came from in the first place? The roman empire created a "one size fits all" religion for the masses. So the Roman empire never actually fell, it just changed its name to the Christian church. Well, strictly speaking, the Catholic church, but you know what I mean.
The RCC has always equated polytheism with Paganism as opposed to monotheism with Christianity.
Most Christians do see the relationship between the two. Any pulpit basher can expound on this for hours...and hours...and hours...
I love the "uncovered" bit. So the prison service was trying to keep it a secret?
Oh, and a few paragraphs earlier, "The policy regarding pagans was announced by Justice Reform Minister Maria Eagle in a parliamentary answer."
So the the Daily Fail contradicts itself just like the babble.
OI OI OI OI OI!
Calm down.
1. This is yet another example of the prison system pandering to bloody theists.
2. I will admit, though, Christers are not allowed their littel bit of worship. There is, at least apparently, a double standard.
3. I don't give a fuck. "OH NO! PEOPLE MIGHT THINK THE TWO RELIGIONS ARE THE SAME!!! HALP ME, LAWD!"
So, can we PLEASE NOT LET THIS SPIRAL INTO A DECRY OF THE DAILY MAIL, AS FASCIST AS THEY ARE, BECAUSE IT IS IRRELEVANT!!111cos 90
Even though they are fascist fucks, they willl speak the truth at least sometimes - they are right: no-one should be pandered to simply because of their "virtue" that is called faith.
You can't decry EVERYTHING they say as fascist/false/incorrect just because they are the Daily Mail. What if they said something you agreed with? Would you disagree then?
Common sense and logic, people! Let's not foget them!
Heck, the best parts of Christianity were stolen from paganism!
(When he gets over that, I'll tell him that the best parts of Islam were stolen from Christianity. That oughta help, right?)
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
