This is amazing but not unheard of. I can't tell how many times in the last ten years I've heard a kid (highschool age, give or take) say that they didn't know the answer to something, then follow with, "That was before I was born!" If that isn't the height of stupidity and arrogance. Because of course, NOBODY has ever learned of something that occured before they were born, and nothing of interest has ever happened that we might want to learn about. And life doesn't require us to know anything about the past, so how should I know? I've wanted to smack each and every one of these offenders without saying a word to them so that they come up with the reason for their beating on their own, or they die wondering.

You did not exist before the twentieth century, so you can't have heard of it before. If, however, you had studied some history, you would have learnt that in ancient Greece homosexuals were rather accepted. There are even older accounts, so no, this is not a new fenomenon.

It is mentioned EXPLICITLY in the Bible:
Leviticus 20:13
If people were not doing it, there would be no need of a law against it.

Okay, you have one of two choices here:
Admit that homosexuality existed even as far back as biblical times, or else it wouldn't condemn it, or admit that the bible is talking about something completely different, and that your stance on homosexuality is groundless, based on your own hatred.

You ought to read something about the Sacred Band of Thebes and the mentor/lover relationship that was fairly common in Ancient Greece, to take two examples. Both happened before the twentieth century. Or, ya know, read the Bible, it's in there, and that was written looong before the twentieth century.

1) You were alive before the 20th century and still are, congratulations (English is such a shitty language when it comes to be both precise and concise)
