They are now saying any extreme weather is sign of global warming. Lol. Never mind there has always been extreme weather and always will be. Now that the polar ice caps have not melted, they refuse to discuss it and get very upset if you remind them. They are anti-science, constantly changing the narrative to blame man...in order that govt can control us more. S

They have long been saying that extreme weathers will be more and more common with the global climate change. 15-20 years ago, the hurricanes were fewer and far between, and you remembered their names. Last year there were so many coming after one another, hitting the US Bible Belt (or near there), that we have a problem remember which was which, and what their names were.
The polar ice caps are melting, and people probably get upset with you for having to constantly argue against your anti-science bullshit.
The problem has gone beyond what ordinary people can do, it's now up on states and corporation level. That's what the Paris agreement is about; all countries on this earth have to agree to pitch in to better the environment, or we are all doomed. Well, all except Mr Petty Narcissist President of the US, that is. Most US states say they are still on board, so I guess the Pres is pretty alone in this hissy-fit.

Pro-science non-fundie: "The term 'global warming' doesn't mean it's gonna get warmer EVERYWHERE, at ALL TIMES! There WILL still be bouts of really cold weather, because of..."
sharaleigh23: "HEY, do you think I am grotesquley stupid ?? Like those who believe 'the Titanic disaster' really happened???"
Uh that is what "They" have always been saying. Oh and they are scientists who spend their lives studying the data. Who are you where is your degree from and what research do you do? I trust "They" more then I trust you.
Anti science are the people who lable the scientists as "They" and then ignore their work.
Sharaleigh, please explain to all of us about the greenhouse layer, the heat discrepancy between what's coming in and what's going out, the "conveyor belt" of ocean circulation, and the role of permafrost melting on the emission of greenhouse gases. Too hard?
Well then, how about the jet stream and its role in keeping the northern US in the deep freeze while the rest of the world (including Alaska) is at higher-than-normal temperature. Can you explain that one either? How about the difference between first-year arctic ice and multiple-year ice? No? Why does the arctic climate play a larger part than the Antarctic? Moving right along...
One more chance: explain the effects of the breaking up of the Larsen B ice shelf? That's OK, we're done now, don't cry. We won't ask your opinion any more.
" Now that the polar ice caps have not melted, they refuse to discuss it "
since the glaciers and the polar ice ARE melting, I have to assume that by 'refuse to discuss it' you mean that people who know better aren't buying into your bullshit.
Confused?
