We saw the risen Christ. It exists. Many have also seen all sorts of spiritual things over history, angels even are recorded to have married humans.

We saw the risen Christ
Lying for jesus huh?
You saw the risen Christ, or some people way back when during your religion's founding? Because it isn't the same thing. And seriously, WTF? You believe that angels have married humans? I hope you are speaking figuratively...
"We saw the risen Christ. It exists."
I think he's not meaning for us to take him literally, but refers to any hallucinations that occur during the mind-melding ceremonies in his church.
"angels even are recorded to have married humans."
The only angels I recall marrying humans in the bible were bad ones. And what about the unicorns? Did you see them? Do they exist?
That doesn't prove anything. People have been known throughout history to experience hallucinations. Realists agree that said hallucinations are figments of the individual's imagination, and not some holy message. What intrigues me though, is the pattern of predominantly female apparitions at various sanctified places around the world.
I would love to watch these people vilify "Realists" along with all the other -ists.
This dad1 (or "dad," as he is also known) is clearly not just fundie, but psychotic, with a capital PSYCHO.

Yeah, lots of people have seen all sorts of "spiritual things" -- but just because you see something doesn't mean it exists. I had a dream where I was on the runway of an airport when I was attacked by a typical thin, spindly, big-eyed alien. (The only thing even vaguely unique about the alien was that it was gold instead of green or gray. I am deeply disappointed in my imagination.) I remember I kicked it in the head. I saw it's head crack open and it's pink brains fall out onto the asphalt.
Not only did I see a the brains of an alien fall out, I actually remember kicking the alien in the skull.
Just because I saw it does that mean it happened?
No. Because it was just a dream. People see things that aren't there all the time. Dreams and hallucinations are absolutely commonplace. Just because you have a dream that seems really realistic or because you have some sort of hallucination of some sort doesn't mean you are crazy per say. These things happen to people. But just because someone may have seen something doesn't make it real!
"...angels even are recorded to have married humans."
So, inter-species marriages are cool with you people (angels being about as non-human as one can get), but gay marriage between two humans isn't?
"We saw the risen Christ."
You were there, with Mary Magdalene, the first person to witness the resurrected Christ, amirite?! [/smartarse]
"It exists"
PROTIP: The TV series "The Addams Family" is not a documentary. [/smartarse II]
"Many have also seen all sorts of spiritual things over history"
As one of you lot did, at a McDonald's; requiring the need of a bathtub and 'swords from hips':

Look, I know Kate Middleton - now the Duchess of Cambridge - is a hotty and all, but I wouldn't go as far as to describe her thusly ! [/smartarse III]
Moral: If this is what religious 'Faith' can do to someone, then I'm glad I'm a facts/evidence/reason/logic thinking-based Atheist. Troll/Poe/Nuts4Life, and your fellow foaming fundie author's so-called 'vision' (actually just a nightmare) "23 Minutes in Hell", I'm looking at you . One word: Schizophrenia.
perhaps dad1 realized that Jesus , risen by the power of God the father , was actually by definition a zombie, and therefore 'it'.
Yes , the bible does say the sons of god looked on the daughters of men and found them fair . Married them to make it all nice and then screwed like bunnies. The women bore the nephelim , being giants.
No I dont want to think about a human woman say 5'6" having a giant child. It might be a messy birth.
Confused?
