This is spot on. Prior to the general acceptance of the theory of evolution, humans were a peaceful, gentle race who lived in harmony, singing songs and toasting marshmallows round the fire.
Just another very simple thing that your God couldn't understand. Who we are is defined by our choices . I have violent, greedy and generally antisocial urges every day but -- and here's the real kicker -- I don't fucking act on them . Shame the same cannot be said of your god. Or I suppose I should say that the same is not true of him -- you mental stillborns will absolutely say as much even as you read stories of the creature butchering entire nations for no better reason than that murder and theft were easier than teaching his chosen people how to build a fucking city.
I don't think any kind of anal stretching could equal what it must have taken to get the idea of "evolution = kids running around with guns" out of someone's ass.
Besides, where I live, it's the conservative Christian kids who have access to guns.

And yet the biblical view is that we came from dust and must burn everything around us to ash for the glory of a fairly twisted God. So really, just stick a pile of dirt in that thought bubble and the message is EXACTLY the same, albeit slightly more accurate.
It's shit like this that makes me firmly believe the modern ape evolved from homo sapiens and not the other way around.
Always doing this, always pushing the lie, their people eat it up, tasty straw, violence began with Darwin's theory to them, all the better to deny the inherent even scriptural demands for such violence or even more apt to todays standard "god, guns and family".
Er, considering it's white men/teens that have been the ones lugging around firearms to the effect of school shootings and senseless shootouts, and IIRC lots of them identify as Christian, I'm not sure this cartoon is really saying much in their favor.
