Heathen countries are not sane. They are degenerate in everywhich way. And the further they get away from God, the more degenrate they become. Case in point: England. Used to be Great Britain, but it is neither great nor even British. At one point it was the bastion of Christianity that carried KJV through the world to deliver the gospel to everyone from dirty Moslims to jungle savages. With Christianity came civilization and goodness itself.

And look at it now--as it abandoned Christianity, it rapidly turned into a backwards cesspool of utter unimportance. As nominal Christians, the British once conquered half the world. Nowdays their only distinction is having their cities overran by Moohmadan hordes and otherwise being more trite than even the French.

As a moral guide, the Bible is useless. With enough imagination, you can find support for almost anything in the Bible: just come to your opinions first, then cherry-pick the Bible for "proof" that God agrees with you. Jesus said, "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." In other words, anything else in the Bible - all that stuff about "thou shalt not steal" and "thou shalt not commit murder" is just babbling another version of the same thing. Civil law cuts through all that crap: it just applies the Golden Rule to activities and relationships between people, while staying out of private, individual business.

Without the Christian Ronnie Raygun, you wouldn't have had the Religious Reich almost succeeding in their own 'agenda': the creation of an Eternal Talibangelist Theocracy of Godsville. Exactly what ISIS wants.

If you refuse to answer with just a 'No', then you'll admit that they & their marriage are approved by your 'God', and thus are moral too (Romans 13:1-5). You could always answer 'Yes', to get out of that argumental corner, Jer.

Or are you too much the coward to answer 'Yes'? You know how you'll be perceived by everyone here if you daren't answer 'Yes'...!

If leftistism is so evil, why did the Apostles practice communism, to the point that Marx himself used the passage in his "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" line?

Jesus was a Jew that gave people free healthcare, fed them when they were hungry, said we should care for the poor, spoke out against wealth, and even attacked the bankers in the temple. Face it. Jesus would endorse Bernie Sanders.
