Yeah, I feel like demons are constantly attacking me. I'm very depressed and paranoid. It has seemed to get worse in the last few weeks.

Demons are not the explanation for mental illness! Get some medical help, or something, dammit! Where did these Rapture Retards go to school, anyway? They must have come in contact with someone who was actually rational and educated at some point, who would be able to make these people realize that maybe not every problem in the world can be explained by demons.
Strangely enough, this sounds like something that wouldn't be all that surprising coming from someone with depression and/or paranoia. I have neither, but judging by the people I've known who had it, to say that one feels as though some extreme, unreal thing is happening to them doesn't exactly mean that they actua-.
Oh. Right. Rapture Ready. In THAT case, it's almost certainly par for the course, and I'd be REALLY surprised if this wasn't a face value statement.
Still, at least the OP is honest about its psychological issues. Shame the majority of them don't share in such candor. Call me an optimist, but it'd be a great thing if self-awareness led to the individual seeking help.
That's because demonic activity has definitely been prevalent in the past few weeks. They cracked the earth in China and drowned thousands in Myanmar; they're breaking out of the center of the earth and at this rate, they're gonna' get you by Memorial Day.
Better pray your god comes back for you before then.
The internet - the worst thing that has ever happened to Christianity.
Seriously. Fundies are constantly bitching about how their church membership has been dwindling over the past decade, how they're so "persecuted", how people are turning to other religions. With the influx of fundie stupidity on the intarwebz is it no fucking wonder? Before they were confined to their churches and prayer meetings. Occasionally a few ballsy ones would try their hands at sidewalk evangelism or door-to-door "soul winning"; however, through the internet fundies who never had the balls to speak openly about their faith are coming out in droves to raise one another up in their goddamn stupidity, for the entire world to see, no less.
I can phrase that better for you:
Yeah, I'm very depressed and paranoid. I feel like demons are constantly attacking me. It has seemed to get worse in the last few weeks.
I suggest less Rapture Ready and more going outside and enjoying life (possibly therapy and/or drugs also, but try going outside first).
But Jsmythe, I thought you were the answer to a womans prayers, if they could only see through their education filled glasses.
And they have pills that can cure those demons now. Try a little Zoloft, or maybe some Wellbutrin.
Oh, you, too? Phew, I'm glad I'm not the only one going through this s- oh dear GODS, it's JSMYTHE aGAIN.
Hadron: Maybe you're right. However, he didn't say demons were attacking him, he said he felt like demons are attacking him. I can see myself say something like that knowing it means nothing. However, it is Rapture Ready...Fundie ahoy! :-)
And it's the Raptards who are the first to say that we Atheists are delusional : certainly 'unhappy' because we don't have their J-boy.
If this - depression & paranoia - is the product of having their J-boy, then Ruptured Retards is a newsflash waiting to happen. [/Jonestown]
Confused?
