Hollywood is in a mad rush to bring back the ancient gods of Rome, Greece, Babylon and Egypt. We are living in a paganism revival. And yet the American church remains sound asleep...

Artemis was a Greco-Roman goddess associated with gnostic wisdom. Gnostic wisdom is basically a belief that humankind becomes wiser and more spiritual through unbridled spiritual indulgence.

Artemis was one of the chief deities that the Apostle Paul grappled with in the Greco-Roman world. Paul was so effective at challenging the power of this demon-goddess with the power of Jesus Christn that he caused a huge riot in the city of Ephesus, where the temple of this goddess was located.

Her Roman name is Diana. When Paul penned the words in the book of Ephesus chapter 6 that deal with spiritual warfare, Paul knew the church was dealing with something more than just ancient myths. He understood we were battling with those ancient gods, goddesses who once walked the Earth as a living reality.

These ancient gods and goddesses are no longer with us physically - thanks in part to The Flood - but they're still with us today spiritually. And they hold huge sway over the folks who work out of Hollywood, Madison Avenue and the entire entertainment industry.

Hollywood knows something that you probably don't: behind all of these modern sci-fi/fantasy/dystopian movies is a simple agenda to raise the ancient gods and goddesses from the ancient world back into a position of prominence. Neo-paganism: the revived worship of ancient gods, is at an all time high. This is why Christians are always attacked in the media every chance given. The agenda is simple: make people lose confidence in Jesus Christ and Christianity so they'll welcome the worship of the old gods again.

This is why Wicca, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings magic and other forms of the occult are being forced down our throats these days via TV shows and movies. It's also the spirit behind misandry, man-hate and distorted feminism.

The spirit is so bold and pugnacious, it has even invaded many churches. This is why there's such a proliferation of women-based ministries popping up left and right. Yet you cannot find a Biblical pretext for the existence of such ministries.

God's word should always be the church's standard. But when the church starts following the lead of the world, we end up opening church doors to the spirits and demons associated with the way the world thinks and operates.
