GOD's perfect will for you is to be delivered and healed by the Power Of God rather than to be cut on and passed out by surgery and medicine. His permissive will is for you to go to the medical profession for healing. However, you pay the spiritual consequences for using the world rather than God's methods.
I found this out by experience with my wife, Earline. She had an operation after cutting the tip of her finger off. She lost her joy in THE LORD after sewing her finger into her palm to make a new finger tip. Win Worley and another pastor took her through deliverance in our home. When she was to have the final operation of cutting her finger out of her palm, I stayed outside of the operating room and prayed constantly to prevent this from happening again. I was not able to do this and had to take Earline through deliverance again.

As long as he only stays away from surgery himself and doesn´t force this upon other people (like his kids for example) I cannot say anything against this.
But he shouldn´t come knocking at the hospitals doors, if someday his spiritual healings fail ;)

I had life-saving surgery when I was 6 weeks old. Did God intend that I should die. If that was his intention, why was his will so easily thwarted by a scalpal-wielding doctor?

@ozznova: the doctors sewed her damaged finger into the flesh of her palm to create a new fingertip; most likely, they cut a flap of skin from her palm and attached it to the end of her finger. Leaving it connected to the palm allowed it to keep sufficient blood flow for the wound to heal properly.
the second operation was to seperate her newly-regrown fingertip from the donor flesh.

To me, this reads as if Earline woke up from each operation no longer believing Gene's fundie brainwashing, rather like someone waking up from having been in a hypnotic state, and had to be reconditioned each time (presumably by fairly unpleasant methods). I hope I'm wrong, because that's pretty scary.

Seems to me that, really, that operation is not much different from what a qualified surgeon might have done.
Instead poor Earlene let herself be cajoled into suffering excruciating pain using DIY methodology (the blood!). No wonder she lost her joy in THE LORD! Then, after giving her back her joy in THE LORD, that fucking idiot Win and that other pastor bastard persuaded her to suffer more agony by cutting her finger out of her palm.
So she was cut on anyway. And the devil got in and she lost her joy in THE LORD yet again!
Next time you have an accident, Earlene, please go to the doctor's. Pastors just don't have the expertise or the equipment.

Okey, we understand, you have fear to anesthesia, to those little knifey thingies who doctors use to cut people, to surgical procedures in particular and to the medical profession in general. You have heard all those histories on malapraxis and forgotten scissors inside the guts, is natural that you developed a (ir)rational fear. WE GET IT.
Now is time that YOU get over that, and stop using the God Free Card to avoid doing the right thing for your health and your wife's. Confront your fucking fear and stop nagging to others to follow your dangerous beliefs. You can pray for that, if you like.
