Big whup. That just shows that the people who post the Rapture Index numbers are afraid of civil rights for people unlike themselves and that they are afraid of new ideas. "Triumphant liberalism is one sign that we are living in the last days." Civil rights, tolerance, compassion good will toward men, are all signs of the end of the world, huh? "Raptureready is adamant that no true believer could even think of voting Democrat." That may be true, but only because Rapture Ready is run by assoholic fucktards. "There is one thing certain we can state, based upon the integrity of Bible truth." There in lies one of your basic problems, you are basing your decision making on a mistaken idea that the Bible is some repository of truth, when actually it is a lame, poorly-written mish-mash of ancient folk tales. "Jesus would never endorse or be a member of any party whose platform supports abortion, gay rights, and a general hostility to Bible-believing Christians." You know, in his day, the biblical Jesus would have been a Liberal. You don't think the biblical Jesus would have supported civil rights for all? The Bible doesn't mention abortion. In Exodus the Bible clearly shows that the life of a human being is valued much more than the existence of a fetus. In the supposed time of Jesus, there was no Bible as we know it or, for that matter, any Christians.

Born-again Bible-believing Christians have an insight into things like resource depletion and climate change not vouchsafed to the un-saved. The Bible says that there will be earthquake, famine, plague, drought and pestilence at the end of time, so who is surprised? Think of this. All those Chicken Littles squawking about running out of oil and stuffing up the atmosphere are just not facing facts. When God made the earth 6000 years ago, He knew exactly how long it had to last. He knows everything. So He put just enough oil and coal in the ground and provided precisely the volume of clean air that we needed to see us out before the Rapture and Armageddon.

There are no words for how angry this view makes me... I mean, think of it this way: If you're right and the end of the world is near, conserving and protecting the earth up until the end isn't going to hurt anything. However, if you're wrong, you've just fucked over the planet for every generation after you, and no one's getting a magical free ride out of it.
