The danger here, is to take on too big a task.
You can’t fix absolutely everything at once.
The main issue is to put the immediately threatening beast back in the cage. Jim Crow did that.
Indeed whining blacks consider the prisons to be a stealthy form of re-enslavement. We tend to understand the massive prison complex as a last ditch effort to protect civilization from black pathology.
If something like Legal segregation actually could be revived America would revive along with it. Looking at the defeated south in 1865 who would expected the coordinated and successful fightback they orchestrated will into the 20th century?
It’s just a matter of doing what needs to be done.

The South? You mean the part of the country that's been constantly behind the times ever since the 1800's and had to be brought kicking & screaming into the idea that civil rights for all is a good thing? Like Mississippi, the poorest state in the nation with the worst education system?
Well, Sparky, unfortunately you and your ilk have the problem of that pesky Constitution being the law of the land, which has been upheld to guarantee equal rights for all (in most cases, anyway).
riiiiiiiiiiiight... so, are you so desperate to show yourself as an uneducated piece of unemployed white trash? and besides, as much as i love the south (the place, not most people living there) truth be told it can't hold its own in a worldwide economy such as ours. you'll just have to keep cooperating. and the blacks have nothing to do with that...
American prisons, which I believe (having never visited one) force prisoners to do menial tasks such as mamking lisence plates (am I horribly out of date here?) for little to no pay demonstrably ARE employing slave labour.
I was under the impression they were an effort to protect people from more antisocial people, and colour had nothing to do with it. Is he asserting that prisons exist to house every black person in America?
I don't think the prison-industrial complex is in any way stealthy.
@#1368645: You are crazy outdated, nowadays they are pretty much used as sweatshop workers to assemble things just so that they can have that "MADE IN USA" label on it. People like John make it so that the people that get incarcerated in the first place don't get a chance for a fair trial, that is if there is even a trial in the first place.
I can understand why people like him are upset.
It isn't fair to blame all black people, but some of them(and plenty of people from other races too) insist on dragging down standards of good grammar and activists justify it as "ebonics".
Grammar is important. A society that is constantly making up slang words, speaking a bunch of different dialects, and mixing up its grammar results in more psychological confusion, as it becomes harder to follow along with what other people are saying. This is especially true as it becomes harder and harder for children to keep track of what other children are saying. This is especially a problem for the more intelligent students.
It's time to insist on new yet traditional and consistent grammatical standards. We should have an American English Language Institute. There should also be an International English Language Institute to keep English worldwide consistent and coherent and not splitting up into a bunch of different languages like Latin did.
Oh my God, this site is possibly worse than Stormfront. Between this and the other Confederacy-defending comments, it is the embodiment of all that is wrong with the South. Think about it, does Germany let people go around saying that Germany would be much better off if society returned to how it was in 1939? Of course not! So why do we in America let these degenerates idolize a people who were despicable, cowardly, and sore losers who resorted to terrorism to get their way?
@TheREasonator
Yo dawg hows it hangin?
Did that boggle your brain? Slang has been around for years, boohoo the only reason why people cant stand Ebonics is because its Ebonics. Hilariously alot of white people who say this use slang that comes from black backgrounds and dont even realize it.
I heard someone on podcast talking this nonsense and then later said "Thats grimy as hell"... Hmmm
Confused?
