This is disingenuous (i.e., a lie) in implying that no such "bridge" between humans and OTHER animals has been established, when it has been well established for a century.
There is no "bridge" needed between man and animal as man is an animal.

So God got an effing kingdom all for himself? That sure looks like taxonomic inflation to me - he's separate at the level of superfamily, tops! Well, I just might accept an infraordinal distinction, but anything more is just beyond the pale.
What a stupid nothing are they building?, what are they supossing, that we´re going to construct a bridge to go to a God we can´t see, if we don´t build before another one to the world we see?
TDR, judging by the art style and the clothing on the figures in it, this must be 50 years old or more. But the mindset is considerably older and is obviously still being trumpeted, so this is fair game.
I love the differences in clothes and posture between each panel. Because Evolution is all, uhhh nimmy nimmy nim. And Christianity is, like, HUH HUH HUR, DOOMBY DOO DOO.
