No, for instance, scientist by use of fossil and geologic column evidence can trace the evolution of whales from aquatic animals to land animals and back to ocean dwellers.

Who are they? Stupid Fundie creationists? That sounds like something they would say. No credible scientist has ever said anything close to that. First, the varities of dog breeds were created by human-directed breeding, that is, artificial selection. Second, the varities of any lifeform prove nothing concerning evolution from rocks.

Honestly? This comment is nothing new. The worst part about creationism is that they mis-teach evolution. Debate 100 creationists, 99 will say "random chance/accident," etc, etc. It's the same argument, again and again.
