Yeah, who cares if wives, daughters, mothers, members of communities, and labor forces have to die meaninglessly...as long as those precious wittle fetuses, (who would feel no pain if they died in their present state, and who have no such social ties to cause emotional pain to others for their passing) are allowed to be born, then it's all good!

The 'pro'-life groups do not want to end abortion, they want to make it illegal. There is a huge difference.
If you want to kill abortion:
- better sex education in schools. (more than just abstinance)
- make contraceptives easily available to every sexually active human being.
- make pre-natal care easily available for EVERY pregnant woman.
- make child care available and affordable for women who need education/job training.
- make free/and or inexpensive breakfasts and lunches available to every child in school.
- make adoptions easier. Allow cross-ethnic adoptions and adoptions by singles (straight or homosexual).
Measures like these would reduce abortions more than making them illegal.

In the name of "life", I suppose. I'm sure you are willing to adopt her other four or five children that are now motherless. Or failing that, just subsidize their care. Unless you are independently wealthy that should only cost you about twice what you make.
