atheism is properly defined as a denial of the existence of God in the midst of full knowledge that the true God does indeed exist. Atheism knows God exists; it is quite familiar with that fact, but it says "under no circumstance or situation will I admit to God's existence."
Atheism clearly perceives the fingerprints of God on all of creation, but refuses to admit He is the Creator. Atheism perceives the divine authorship of the TEN COMMANDMENTS, but refuses to admit that God is their Author. Atheism perceives the decorousness and perfection of the TEN COMMANDMENTS, but refuses to admit they are superior to all other laws. Atheism clearly perceives the divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ, but refuses to admit His divinity. If an atheist could see the wounds in the body of Christ and actually feel them with his hands, he would deny that the wounds are there. Atheism is deliberate effort to never admit the existence of God.
Atheism is the ultimate of satanism. Ask satan does God exist and he will deny it. Ask him does satan exist and he will deny his own existence even while in your presence. Atheism holds the Bible in one hand, but deny its existence by denying its truth with the other.

Jeremy:
Poor, desperate people are the ones who are in most need of hope, even if it's irrational hope. So we see, for example, that poor people are the ones who play the lottery most, even though they're the ones who can least afford it. Likewise, their the ones who invest the most in religions which offer them hope. So third-world status would probably suit Mr. Lee just fine.
Christianity is properly defined as a denial of the lack of existence of God in the midst of full knowledge that the true God does not exist. Christianity knows God doesn't exist; it is quite familiar with that fact, but it says "under no circumstance or situation will I admit God doesn't exist."
Christianity clearly perceives the fingerprints of God are on nothing, but refuses to admit He isn't the Creator. Christianity perceives the mundane authorship of the TEN COMMANDMENTS, but refuses to admit that God is not their Author. Chritianity perceives the arbitrariness and imperfection of the TEN COMMANDMENTS, but refuses to admit they aren't superior to all other laws. Christianity clearly perceives the lack of divinity of Jesus Christ, but refuses to admit His lack of divinity. If Christian could see the lack of wounds in the body of Christ and actually feel it with his hands, he would claim the wounds are there. Christianity is deliberate effort to never admit the lack of existence of God.
Christianity is the ultimate of satanism, as no-one else even believes in Satan. Christianity holds the Bible's innacuracies and contradictions in one hand, but deny their existence by denying its meaning with the other.
Yeah, Bobby's always good for a laugh.
I dislike it when Xians are arrogant enough to tell me what I believe. I am an atheist. I do not believe in God. If I knew God existed, why would I deny it? I'd love to be saved by skydaddy and live in paradise forever, but I have no reason to believe that that is possible.
"Atheism holds the Bible in one hand, but deny its existence by denying its truth with the other."
No, I do not deny it exists, I just deny that it has any authority.
Just so you know when you access the web site TenCommandments according to its author you forefeit your rights to "Fair Us"

Good thing FSTDT is protected by Fair Use, and not Fair us otherwise we could be in trouble.
If I knew that the Christian God existed, I'd have to be pretty stupid to deny it. If I really thought that hell awaited those who did not believe, would I even consider trying to pretend otherwise and risk going there myself?
I'd argue that no one is that stupid, but your post is evidence to the contrary.
@Robert T. Lee
Atheism clearly perceives the fingerprints of God on all of creation, but refuses to admit He is the Creator. Atheism perceives the divine authorship of the TEN COMMANDMENTS, but refuses to admit that God is their Author. Atheism also likes chocolate milk, vodka, and to play baseball. But in his defense, atheism is really a nice guy at heart.

There's no such warning visible when I started to read that site, would that even have any legal power?
Ask satan does God exist and he will deny it.
I thought that devils acknowledged the existence of Jesus. There are various verses in the bible in which Jesus prohibits a devil from saying that jesus is the son of god.
Atheism holds the Bible in one hand, but deny its existence by denying its truth with the other.
You mean with all the contradictions that don't really contradict but are a test of faith as to see who can percieve the real meaning behind all the things said?
I read a little more of Lee's article. Needless to say, it makes very little sense, although Lee holds it out to be some kind of earth-shattering revelation.
His logic is circular (that is, when logic even bothers to crop up at all). Other times, he makes a point simply by saying it is so, then declaring that atheists make no sense because something they do contradicts one of his pronouncements.
@"Deuteronomy"
Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the LORD your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant or your ox or your donkey or any of your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you, so that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you. You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the LORD your God commanded you to observe the sabbath day. This is one of the TEN COMMANDMENTS that most Christians ignore. Hint, Sunday is the first not the seventh day of the week.
Well, by Robert T. Lee's definition of "atheism", there's no such thing as an atheist.
However, here in the real world, where 'atheism' is defined by the absence of belief in gods, there are plenty of them. And if more than a couple people read Robert T. Lee's post, there will probably be more of them, as surely anyone with two brain cells to rub together would read his post, and realize that a loving god wouldn't allow this kind of stupidity to exist in his creations.

It wouldn't matter anyway, because that disclaimer carries no binding legal authority.
However, I'll see Mr. Robert T Lee shoddy legal disclaimer, and raise him an equally legally binding disclaimer in retort:
If Robert T. Lee should access my site, then he has already consented to the use of his quotes on this site in the past, present, and future. If Lee chooses to whine about, he waives his right to your own soul, where he will be obliged to mail his soul to Mr Yahweh Nod within 5 business days. Failure to comply with this legal agreement will result in legal action action Lee at Mr Nod's disgression.
In your face, Lee.
Doh! If I knew that his one true Dog existed, I would be stupid to deny it. Being happy about it or worshipping Nightshirt Man is another matter entirely... I know and recognize that "toothbrush-moustache" Adolf, Joe Stalin, Dubya or Dutroux exist/existed, that doesn't mean it fills me with joy, and I certainly wouldn't submit to their every deranged whim. And considering what the Babble tells us about the paranoid, jealous, bloodthirsty, unstable and disturbed sky fairy...
are you saying he is gay?
What do you think was the actual reason for his rebellion? Jehovah wouldn't let him have his turn as the top...
"Atheism perceives the decorousness and perfection of the TEN COMMANDMENTS"
Actually, I've always felt they were somewhat poorly worded. The seventh, eighth, and tenth commandments all have some degree of redundancy, and I understand Catholics actually split "thou shalt not covet" into two commandments. So that makes four semi-redundant commandments, and one commandment (the first, if I'm not mistaken) containing two commandments' worth of imperatives.
Robbie, dear, understand a few facts. One, atheists don´t believe in God because God is a matter of faith, not of fact. God is nowhere to be seen, and Jesus himself was clear on that. Instead of insisting so much in "they know he exists", wonder why you´re so interested in other people ackowledging something which is not so evident. Work on YOUR beliefs, and leave others alone. Second, the divinity of Jesus Christ is denied by 70% of the population or MORE. Count muslims, Buddists or any. It´s, again,a matter of FAITH. Three, the ten commandments are not superior to any law. The first three or four ones, depending on the translation, are simple theological guidelines which are not special per se. The remaining six ones are common sense laws that, if not impossible to enforce(the tenth one, for example), they have been enforced by all nations and ideologies. I don´t know a nations that enables people steal or kill or spread false oath. Moreover, Babylon had a much more refined and complex legal code which could be adapted to very concrete situations. Moreover, the legal code in Europe, which eventually was given to America, was the ROMAN CODE. Go figure why. And the last part, go YOU ask Satan, if you are ever able to find him. He will probably admit God´s existance and his superiority. After all, wasn´t he the one who asked for permission to tempt Job?
"atheism is properly defined as a denial of the existence of God in the midst of full knowledge that the true"
- And where did this alleged knowledge come from? Your reference to the "fingerprints of God" suggests that knowledge of god is self evident. If that is so, there is no need for faith. If faith is the vehicle for Christian salvation, then Christian salvation is dependent on something that is, by definition, worthless.
Congratulations Bob. Your line of "reasoning" invalidates Christianity far more efficiently than any atheist could have in a lifetime.
> atheism is properly defined as a denial of the existence of God in the midst of full knowledge that the true God does indeed exist
Then there are no atheists. So why do you keep going on about these people you imagine?
No, you fucking idiot, atheism means a lack of belief in all Gods. That's it. I know this is hard for some of you morons to understand, but there are many people who (SHOCK! HORROR!) do not believe that your beloved skydaddy exists.
No, that's the improper definition of atheism, or a definition of anti-theism. Atheism is just a lack of belief in any gods, period. "It" doesn't say anything, it's politely waiting for theists to prove the existence of their particular deity beyond reasonable doubt.
Which god has left its fingerprints? Have you had a line-up of all possible deities and let everyone leave their fingerprint for comparison?
How the heck do you know so much about atheism? Or rather; "Why do you think you know so much?", as all of it is wrong.
Atheism is just as much the deliberate effort to never admit the existence of Ganesha and Odin, stupid.
Listen carefully, Bobbie; We. Don't. Believe. In. Satan. Either.
We don't deny the existence of the Bible, dumbass. We don't deny the existence of The Silmarillion either, and we find more truths in the second book.
It doesn't work that way, Robert. You can't tell me what I believe or disbelieve. You've got a hard enough job trying to justify the inconsistencies and contradictions in your own bible, so please don't try to redefine atheism for us. I've been an atheist for approximately sixty years, and never in that time have I seen a reason to reconsider.
Atheism is the ultimate of satanism.
Considering how it is and how many of its followers act, I would say Christianity has been a far more satanic ideology than atheism. I mean it houses hypocrites who don't care if others fall to hell, etc
Confused?
