I'm a science fiction freak... Always have been. Star Trek and Star Wars were a large part of my teenage years. Lately I've been hearing that a lot of theoretical physics speculates that their may be more than one universe, if the math is right... I really don't know the workings of it, but it's interesting.

How this relates to Christianity is this: you think the Bible might support that? For example, the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew is different than the one in Luke. Maybe one or the other recorded Jesus' genealogy from an alternate universe!

Roflmao! This is the funniest thing I've read on fstdt in a long time. Yes, some scientists believe there could be alternate realities... but to assert that the bible was written multi-dimensionally is fucking nuts. Here, this is for you:

Dumb it may be, but this is one of the most original pieces of apologetics I've seen in decades.

Just consider the implications for a moment. If the bible was God's testament to the creation of a Everett style "multiverse" then all the contradictions in the bible melt away! The two deaths of Judas? It's talking about two different Judases (Judae?). Genesis 1 and 2? Happened in parallel creations.

Even the inaccuracies of the bible disappear. The biblical value of pi comes from a universe with stronger positive curvature, so pi is smaller there, there could also be a universe where bats are feathered, grasshoppers lack a pair of legs, etc. When you've an infinite number of realities to play with, nothing can disagree with them.

Hell even the complete lack of evidence for the NT isn't a problem, those events just happened in the universe next door!

I for one applaud TRCK for, at a stroke (or perhaps after one), ending the conflict between bible literalism and bible continuity, secular science and general reality. Like a modern-day Alexander, he has not merely cut the gordian knot, but instead invented a reality where the rope was untied. Genius!
