[On the Orlando shooting]
I read the news item on this attack at Fox News, and they quoted one of the survivors as saying the bar had been just about to close and everyone was taking their "last sip." The horrific irony in that statement was probably not what the speaker intended to communicate, but it was nevertheless there. Every one of us is literally 'one sip' away from meeting the Righteous Judge. The tragedy of the shooting is compounded by the sad fact that those who died have now passed beyond any last chance of repenting, and their eternal condition has been irrevocably determined. No one in the media is likely to comment on this fact, obviously.

Hey ccoyle, you don't know what happened to those people and your presumption is an offense: If a Creator exists, I would hope It wouldn't judge people only according to their worst act (and going to a nightclub, even for the gayest sex I'm sure you think they have there, doesn't by any means qualify as that).
Your fake pity is an affront to the living and an insult to the dead.
No, no one in the mainstream media is about to "comment on this fact"....er.....scratch that, "comment on the judgmental opinions of some bible-thumper, unfamiliar with any of the victims, who has some batshit crazy ego-fueled opinion that he knows better than anyone else, and that he has decided they're sinners". Nope, the media doesn't give a flying fuck for your opinions, nor do I.
"No one in the media is likely to comment on this fact, obviously."
Because few people in the media are such utter @sswipes as to even think this, obviously.
@Musicalbookworm: To my understanding, the biggest reason they have for worshiping him is that they fear that they will be tortured if they don't.
As Tempus said in the other thread, most of them never developed beyond basic pre-conventional moral reasoning: "Don't do that because daddy will spank you if you do."
You should seek a valid news source, dearie. That one isn't called Faux News or Fucks News for nothing, ya know.
Repenting what? Working on the Sabbath? Wearing clothes of mixed fabrics? Eating shellfish? Touching a menstruating woman? Not having sold all their possessions and given the money to the poor?
The people shot in the church about a year ago also passed beyond any last chance of repenting.
Oh... I get it, FUCK yer STUPID judgemental ASS! And don't forget folks, GUNS don't kill people, bullets kill people!
Matthew 7:21-23; also Matt. 7:7.
You do realise that Salvation is transferable; All things are possible with your 'God', are they not? Including changing his mind.
That is the hideous irony. No one is likely to care about this fact, obviously.
You grabbed this quote from Rapture Ready, and you are surprised by the views expressed? I'd expect nothing less than this kind of crap from them. I'm just surprised they weren't a bit more gloaty over it... you know... a kind of "Thank God for 50 dead homosexuals" kind of sentiment.
If Rapture Ready was on an island, it should be towed out into the mid-Pacific and used to test nuclear weapons on.
I believe quite a few people were saved in that nightclub. Not that you'd care, you're too busy condemning them in the unproven afterlife.
Caw, caw the carrion crow.
Using a tragedy to push your own religious drivel?
It's YOUR Hell. YOU burn in it.
EDIT
Just heard about Jo Cox. Nice to know that we have ideological killers over here as well (sarcasm).
There was a vigil in Oxford UK for the victims and the local equivalent of the WBC were out protesting with placards reading 'God does not love everyone! Rom 9:12 'As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated'. Scum.
So sorry, but anyone that mentions Fox Noize without laughing, is not someone that can be taken seriously. Ever. About anything.
A bit OT, but I'm sorry to read about Jo Cox. From what I can tell, she's a major loss for the side of sanity.
@The Crimson Ghost
If Jo Cox's murderer turns out to be a supporter of UKRAP, that's it for the 'Leave' campaign of Nige FaRAGE; 'Brexit' and all that retarded jazz. This only wants to make me vote 'Remain' all the more next week. I bet I won't be the only one, neither.
As she was a campaigner of Syrian refugees' rights - as in their right to be out of the reach of ISIS - and her murderer was white , this destroys the rightists' right to think the way they do. White terrorists exist. [/TransPratt/Moron]
Jo Cox died? When I heard the news, she was still in critical condition.
What horrible rotten couple of weeks it's been...
@ Moose-kun-from the 2 articles I read, this waste of space was a rabid right winger, something about screaming as well as belonging to "Britain First!" Considering my very limited knowledge of Britain's crazed political groups, I couldn't say how accurate it was.
@ 121-I first read about this on MSN, of all places. I may be a lowly Yank, but I noticed. Living stateside tends to make one acutely aware of things like this.
He would fit in perfectly with the republican party.
Confused?
