You also need to notice: He promised to take care of His children. In another topic, you mentioned Darfur, and how Christians sit and do nothing. Tell me: Who do they worship? If you do the research, you will see that the national religion of Darfur is Islam. You will also see that Christians in the area are persecuted. You will find that 65% of the population claims to be devout Muslims while the majority of the remaining 35% claim to only be muslim (as opposed to devout muslim). Why should the Lord bless a country that openly seeks the destruction of HIS chosen people (Israel) and His children (the saved)?

Hmmm....from the book of Jonah, we see that God does indeed care for the sinner and the unbeliever. But it seems that Randy is your modern day Jonah, not giving a rats ass if the people suffer. As long as his side wins, he is content to let people suffer.
Note: I wasn't calling the Muslims sinners or unbelievers, I was merely drawing the parallels between this and Jonah.
"Why should the Lord bless a country that openly seeks the destruction of HIS chosen people (Israel) and His Children (the saved)?"
Perhaps because he's done it so many times in the past? The Ninevites, for one example. Of course in the OT, he's also gone all medieval on the asses of the "unbelievers" as many times as he has been merciful. I guess you have to catch him on a good day or something.
And I gotta say...the nation of Darfur is not seeking the destruction of Israel or of Christians. Most of the people in Darful are too busy seeking basic food, water, shelter, and a place without assholes trying to kill them. All that makes it really hard to take part in your imaginary global Islamist conspiracy to kill all Christians.
Or, more to the point, why should I, or anyone else, believe in your ineffectual "God?"
Dang he would've had fun in 1860 or any of the hundreds of other Christian vs Christian wars.
Oh wait, you're talking about the Jews. Hey, Brother Randy's denouncing Jesus everybody! About time you fat fuck!
I can see it all fitting into his theology if the disbelievers had had a chance to be saved, but how many missionairies are in Sudan, and more specifically, the afflicted region, but I'm guessing it's very few. And the percentage of those missionaries (who would probably have fled by now anyway) belonging to the Psychotic Fundamentalist Baptist cult is bound to be quite low. How can the people of Darfur be expected to embrace a religion they've had very little contact with? And of the Christians in Sudan, I'm betting that as in much of Africa, they mix their Christian beliefs with local traditions and rituals, producing a fascinating, yet doctrinally unsound (in Bro. Randy's world) faith.
If God is going to punish the unbelievers, then hey, good for him, but why would he subject innocent CHILDREN to the horrors of Darfur; children whose only crime was to be born in that area; children with no idea of religion other than that taught to them by their parents?
What a sick, twisted creature he is. May his portly wife roll over in bed one day and smother him.
In any case, what´s your merit?, or only love thy neighbour if your neighbour is of your religion?, moreover, in which way is, according to you, superior to Islam?
I see, so your fundamentalist christian morality condones the rape and murder happening in Darfur because they don't follow your beliefs, whereas anyone doesn't belong to your little cult is rightly appalled by those same acts and seeks to end them, and you have the unmitigated gall to then say that your moral beliefs are superior to those of all others. You are the one who needs to rethink his beliefs as you are the one in need of moral guidance. This is why I have always said that I would put my life in the hands of an atheist long before I would a fundamentalist.
Hm... something that Jesus said comes to mind, here... Now what was it? "Do unto others as you would wish them to do unto you?" Naw... that can't be it. Oh yeah... "Screw unto others, as you would wish them to screw unto you."
Confused?
