You know, I read papers and listen to the news pretty regularly and in the midst of all the chaos, war, famine, political opportunism, religious hatred, etc, I don't recall seeing Canada's name mentioned once. Seems to me to be a pretty peaceful, law-abiding, non-intefering sort of place. Unlike certain other countries we could mention....

Hitler hated communists darn near as much as he hated Jews, so I don't think he would take too kindly to being lumped in with them like that.all governments "impose" themselves on the educational system in developed countries. Education is one of those primary essential services like the mail and power generation and sanitation and water that simply can not be left up to fluctuating market forces and pure free enterprise.
What would happen if we privatized, oh, say, the water supply, and it became unprofitable? The private water company would go out of business and next thing you know, we're all using outhouses and fetching water from the town well again.
One of the reasons governments exist is to ensure that the truly essential services are provided for.

Communist and nazis are not the same thing. And Hitler would not be proud of a country that legalises gay marriages, has a liberal economic system and defends the right of minorities.
