"Now, moving right along here there are some disturbing doctrines within the religion of atheism that are cause for concern."
Atheism is not a religion. Why is that so very, very difficult for you people to understand?
"It has been brought up repeatedly that since atheism teaches that humans are nothing more than animals, it would be completely acceptable for one human being to eat another if it was a matter of life and death."
Atheism teaches no such thing. Biology says we're animals, not atheism. And yes, while cannibalism is taboo in almost all human societies it is also nearly always accepted, or at least not derided, when done in a life or death survival situation--assuming the one being cannibalized is already dead to begin with--and there are numerous cases of this happening. Murdering someone so that you could eat them so that you could survive would still be inexcusable to most people.
"I believe the theological word for this doctrine is CANNIBALISM!"
Cannibalism is neither a doctrine, nor is it in any way theological. You, however, are a blithering moron.
"This acceptance of cannibalism as a religious tenet really does confirm the old saying, “If you remove God from academia the best one could ever hope to achieve is to end up with highly educated barbarians”."
Nobody, save for some small groups here and there I would assume, hold cannibalism as a religious tenet. Atheism certainly does not as atheism is not a religion, as I've pointed out.
"he acceptance of the doctrine of cannibalism into the religion of atheism is the fulfillment of that statement."
I feel I should point out, yet again, that atheism is not a religion, you moron. I feel I should also point out that it's your precious Christianity that has ritualized symbolic cannibalism in the form of the Eucharist, where the "body and blood" of your Christ are consumed during the Communion ceremony.
Just thought I'd point that little bit of hypocrisy out to you.
