well its obvious you do not understand the severity of sin as I can tell from your post..Everyone on earth has the free will to except Christ or not. Jesus said I am the truth, the way and the life. Without justice how can there be mercy? You take away the justice from God and God isn't God anymore. By a damned sinner going to heaven would impede on God's justice.
The countrys that the 2004 tsunami was on were many countrys who severely persecuted christians. In fact that area is where some of the worst persecution is of christians(Thailand, Sri, Indonesia)..that area alone is responsible for the deaths of millions of christians. So when I see something like that happen, I am not in the least bit surprised..

Wait, what? We can take away god's power? And didn't your savior come to save the sinners, thus sinners are going to heaven? And really, I think that more christians have killed other christians throughout history than anyone else has. Thing is, both sides claim the other wasn't christian.
And God makes them look just like random acts of nature why exactly?
So that no-one will get the message except the faithful? So that the 'persecuters' will not make the connection between their actions and 'God's wrath' and change their ways?
So, Renton, if your government decided that rather go to the expense of a jury trial, they'll just administer a punishment beating at some random interval after you commit a misdemeanor (without telling you what its in response to, of course), you'll be singing hallelujah in the streets at their just and loving ways?
Yeah, right!
Aren't there a lot of nasty tornadoes in the Bible Belt? I mean, the region even intersects with Tornado Alley. Why are these Christian-friendly locales getting pummeled by such storms?
And, let's face it, New Orleans wasn't the only Louisiana town affected by Hurricane Katrina. So, though I'm certain that one city is a Den of Sin, there were Christian-friendly areas hurt by that.
Doesn't Genesis indicate that God will not destroy an city if even ten righteous people are in it?

Riiiight. That's why so many European Christians go there on Christmas holiday and were there when the tsunami hit.
Idiot.

Attributing malevolent intelligence to random natural events is a sign of ignorance and stupidity.
In the 21st century, we understand what causes these events and we no longer think they're caused by some invisible deity in a fit of pique.
As for sin, it's in the eye of the beholder. What's sin to you would be nothing to me. If that offends your god, fuck him.
Unbelieveable. Does this ignoramous really believe that Thailand, Sri Lanka and Indonesia are where the worst persecution of xians has taken place and millions have died???
And then to use that fallacy as a reason and justification of why 250,000 people died.
What an ignorant sick idiot.
A Swedish friend of the family and two of his children, both under five, drowned in their hotel room while on holiday in Thailand.
I can't believe the Westboro church could say such things about people. ::::::::::cry::::::::::::
[Edit] I realize I forgot to touch on the second half of this post.
A god that has to use fear of eternal punishment and terrorist acts to earn followers is a god of fear, not a god of love. Those who delight in said actions of a terroristic god of any flavor are likewise without compassion or love for their fellow humans. According the the deity that Renton here says he follows, Renton is on a sure path to the hell he keeps proclaiming others are going.
Persecution of Christians in Thailandia, Sri Lanka or Indonesia?, last time I heard NGO workers and missionaries, they were working with no problem(moreover, many of them died in the fateful event)
Yeah, and the areas of the Bible Belt that aren't prone to violent tornadoes are prone to getting pummeled by violent hurricanes.
The only reason the Bible Belt still is as such, is that for some reason people cling all the harder to their beliefs when they encounter evidence to the contrary.
In Greensburg, Kansas, every church and school in town was totally destroyed. The only surviving large building was the town's only BAR.PS Fuck you Renton405 for trying to use death and misery to push your beliefs down people's throat. Assholes like you set Christianity back for the real charitable and loving ones who practice it.
So lets get this straight. God exists, and gives us the choice to believe in him or not. Then he disappears, giving no empirical evidence to his existence. Then he leaves a text chronicling his actions, painting himself as a monster, whose idea of mercy is not snuffing us all out in an instant. Of course only a small fraction of the world's population will be given access to this text. Further, as a test, he will even leave evidence contradicting his text, as proof AGAINST his existence. However, those that are fortunate to live in the appointed areas, see past his lies...errr...tests, and don't ask any questions find salvation. Those that look at it and think that there's something funny about it all burn in hell. No matter how good they are in spite of that fact. And this makes sense to you?
By the way, on the topic of natural disasters as an act of God, why is the Bible Belt absolutely pummeled by tornadoes on a regular basis?
Confused?
