do you understand why I get angry when evolutionists go on about ToE being ‘fact’, supported by ‘masses of evidence’? Several people on this forum, though not you personally, have scoffed at certain Bible stories, most of which are quite feasible without the need to invoke the miraculous, and then they claim that reptile-to-bird evolution is science! On the contrary, unless someone can explain how any creature part way between a reptile and a bird could have survived at all, never mind been favoured by natural selection, please don’t expect me to believe that evolution is anything other than a fairy story – a nature myth - clung on to in desperation by rebellious humans who do not wish to submit to the lordship of a holy, almighty, Creator - God.

Amore, could you explain to us why a transitional reptile-bird (let's call it, oh, Archaeopteryx ) would NOT survive?
It seems to me that flight (or gliding), feathers for warmth, and scales for protection would be very practical in a species.
Evolution is a fact. The exact mechanics of evolution are debated by some credible scientists, but that evolution happened is not seriously debated anymore.
I DO scoff at many Bible stories. That's because many of them are ridiculous.
I cling to reason and logic, not because I am rebellious, but because I do not wish to sumbit to your insane Xian delusions.
There are probably hundreds of gods in various mythologies who fraudulently claim credit for the Creation of Everything; no myth, and indeed no science, has the true [or in the latter case, full] story. I admire Eastern religions in that they regard the Creation event as ultimately unknowable in scope and detail, and they had the wisdom to not bullshit about it.
So, you have given your spiritual self-determination over to one of the worst mythologies, simply [I am assuming here] because it is the one you were indoctrinated into.
You, Amore, have been enslaved by the persuasive shyster/bogeyman Saul of Tarsus.
Call me a Rebel, that's no skin off my ass, but I'd rather be dipped in fucksnot than submit to lifelong psychosis. That's the bedrock of your religion. Psychosis.
Nice pic Osiris!
People fear what they don't understand. Just because you don't understand something, doesn't make it bad or wrong. Therefore reason alone should tell you to actually grow a pair and read about what you have decided to bash.
Just because some of the bible stories are feasible, doesn’t make your religion true. Most legends are based on some amount of pre-existing story or actual stories of actual people. This does not a deity make.
Let me tell you something, Amore.
I'm planning to become a paleontologist someday. I've been interested in dinosaurs since I was five years old. I even participate in academic discussions regarding dinosaurs and prehistory.
With this in mind, I will point out that there are plenty of "half-reptile, half-bird" creatures, as you so fancifully put it, in the fossil record. Ever heard of Archaeopteryx? Microraptor? Caudipteryx? Epidendrosaurus? Or to use a more well-known one, Velociraptor*? These dinosaurs all fit into the category that you describe. All are dinosaurs, yet they have feathers and some could probably even fly. They survived well enough. Reptile-to-bird evolution is science, regardless of your feelings.
It's sad that so many people have decided to stick their heads in the ground these days.
*Not that oversized, way-too-intelligent, not-enough-feathers monstrosity from Jurassic Park ; I'm talking about the real thing.
So, if they´re so feasible, why do they keep on telling things like "this was God´s testimony" and so on?, why did have Moses to show "his prodigies" or give his people a signal?.
Just curious, why on earth would someone not want to believe in a God? I guess so that way they can do whatever they want... or something... but who, if faced with undeniable proof of a higher being, would reject that? In the first place, it's not logical. If you encounter something undeniable AND wonderful, loving, etc. you would believe in it pretty fast. I think.
I had a thought.
Amore thinks God cast people out for sinning, they crawl and beg to be let in, putting his wishes above their own until they hope to one day be let back.
We atheists, evolutionists, scientists, secular humanists and anyone who rejects a literal interpretation of the bible are making the best of it. We seeking to understand this world and earn our way into heaven or one day create our own.
Even if God is there, we don't need him, that you do points to a flaw in your character.
Confused?
