Femininity is based on loving and nurturing husband and children. A woman loves by surrendering power to her husband in exchange for his power (protection) expressed as love. Men want power; women want love. Heterosexual marriage is based on this exchange.
It just makes sense that a woman needs a man's support while she raises children. Thus, marriage is essential to both a woman's fulfillment and material security.
Masculinity is defined by power. Power = penis. Empower women and you give them a psychological penis. You neuter them.

Love is not a social power struggle. You speak of domination and submission, which in sexual terms has been explained as working in the reverse order.
Masculine power does not = penis and only the pathetic belive so. Masculine power is defined by will and masculinity by direct and bold exertion of the will.
Feminine power is also defined by will but femininity is typically seen as the more subtle implementation of their will through gentle suggestion and direction.
If you wish to extend the power metaphor, men provide driving force, women provide a direction. Either force left on it's own would indeed be ineffectual.
But in today's world those two traits and roles can be seen in either gender and attempting to shackle anyone into a specific role will make them miserable and society would begin crumbling in that way. I for one have an attraction to women with forceful personalities and butting heads with hot chicks that can hold their own without backing down gives me charge that a pansy like you couldn't handle.
The mission statement of the actual Illuminati group, (yeah they were a real thing but probably don't control the world to the degree you think,) was to tap and control the flow of knowledge and information in defiance of religious bodies that didn't want people looking for their own answers in the world. Basically, they were Mensa with funny robes and secret meetings. They would be far more concerned with the careful study of gender politics than interference. The disruption of a stable society is generally contrary to that goal and a New World Order filled with men and women uninterested in procreation would quickly collapse. Their media-monitoring agents are probably laughing at you and the idea you think they'd do something so stupid.

I don't know that the world is any more "zany" than it was 100 years ago, and in many ways it's a lot better. And the Illuminati never "controlled" the world.
I would just like to point out that "sexless worker drones" is wrong on several levels. The terms come from eusocial animals - ants, bees, etc.
1. Workers are not sexless- they are female, just not fertile.
