I imagine hell to be a very awesome place to be for two reasons. No fundies, and eternal partying. Look at it this way, "god" would want the "devil" to punish us but why would the "devil" do anything that "god" wanted.

Champagne? You're talking about the grape product right? The bottle fermented, yeasty, pinot noir chardonnay from the French region of Champagne? Do you really think France exports to heaven? Do you know what portion of their crop heaven takes? Is it a clean 10%?
I think that's the defining characteristic of fundamentalism: the resentment of everyone who is different. It's as though fundies suspect their way of life isn't quite that perfect after all, and they have to heap hatred and scorn on others who dare to live outside their narrow thought-prison. They're trying to convince themselves as much as anyone else that non-fundie lifestyles are damned, and that they haven't made a mistake in being a fundamentalist.

I challenge you to look through the entirety of FSTDT's archives, and find any quotes by Quakers and Unitarian Universalists. Hopefully you'll do the maths, then you'll realise why the likes of you are quoted, Emily. Certainly not for your humbling, reserved, and above all, tolerant and loving Christian mindset, that's for sure.
PROTIP: There's a phrase that applies to you and your fundie ilk: 'Those who don't want their beliefs laughed at, shouldn't have such funny beliefs. Again, look through all of FSTDT's quote archives, and ask yourself this question: why are there never any quotes by Quakers and Unitarian Universalists?

Anyone stupid enough to imagine they are going to be sipping champagne on a heavenly throne deserves to be ripped to shreds (not literally, of course) by people of sense.
The fact that in their own minds they take glee in the future suffering of others does say a lot about their concept of love and kindness, though. So not merely are people like this deluded fools, they are mean-spirited scum.
