Key thing here is Evolution is a 'Theory' not FACT!
Too many times its taught as 'Fact' when in reality its a 'Theory' just as the Theory of relativity is a theory, not a fact, that today is being broken as we speak.
Very simply put to say this is a fact when its a theory bespeaks some measure of hubris thats not good to have.
Mutations are NEVER good, they hinder and harm, adaptation is the key here in biological diversity not 'evolution or mutations'.
If some kind of critter cant adapt to changes in nature, it dont last long, its that simple.

Someone BROKE Einsteinian relativity? Where?

Read this, and be enlightened:

The Theory of Evolution is just a theory, like Theory of Gravity is just a theory. Theory is the highest level of certainty there is in science, stupid.
Critters adapt to changes in nature through mutations and natural selection. Species evolve, not individuals.
You thinking that you understand science bespeaks some measure of hubris thats not good to have.
"If some kind of critter cant adapt to changes in nature, it dont last long, its that simple."
Uh... yeah, mutations are HOW they adapt, genius...
The theory of evolution really is just a theory.
Of course, the theory IS the best explanation we have for the observed fact of evolution.
Hint: You keep using "theory". It does not mean what you think it means.
Relatively is proven anytime someone uses a GPS, considering that, you know, the calculations have to be adjusted to compensate for the alteration of the speed of light due to Relativity. And the thing is, Evolution still has MORE supporting evidence than Relativity, what with everything in Biology ultimate revolving around it while there are things in Physics which do not rely on Relativity. So the level of fail here is so high it curves back in on itself and reaches a negative value.
Key thing here is Creation is a 'Myth" not SCIENCE!
Too many times its taught as 'Fact' when in reality its a 'Myth' just as the Myth of Santa Clause is a Myth, not a fact, that today is being broken as we speak.

You don't understand the use of the word "theory" part 38,529,857,921,387.
If some kind of critter cant adapt to changes in nature, it dont last long, its that simple.
And yet here you give one of the working mechanisms for evolution. I think anti-evolutionists understanding how natural selection works, along with them admitting that "micro-evolution" happens, are the first cracks in their wall of defense against evolutionary fact.
"Mutations are NEVER good,"
Please define good. I mean, it would be terrible to have hollow bones, right? Hollow bones break very easily. However, without them, birds would be too heavy to fly.
And then there's sickle cell anemia. SCA is a terrible disease in its homozygous form, not good in any way. However, people with heterozygous SCA have increased resistance to malaria, improving their chances for survival in area where malaria is rampant.
Education Rink, it works
You know what else is a theory. Gravity. So go float off into space now.
As for mutations never being good, those people who have a natural immunity to AIDS would like a word with you...
A scientific theory, which the ToE is, is supported by facts; it is not the same as a mere guess. A scientific theory can be tested over and over again based on those facts. It is falsifiable, meaning that if a fact is discovered that disproves it then you have to either alter the theory or replace it with a new theory that also explains the new fact.
No, that wasn't Relativity breaking, that was the sound of my brain breaking instead.
Mutations aren't always harmful, adaptations are the result of them.
Germs were once a theory. Eat shit then, Rink. 10 trillion flies can't be wrong.
Relativity. So I guess those two atomic bombs dropped on Japan in WWII were just a rumour, eh?
Evolution. So, from some 6000 years, a certain strain of bacteria - created 'as is' by an invisible sky fairy - just hung around doing noting, with nothing to eat, until several decades ago humans invented Nylon. A material that, before the 20th Century, didn't exist in nature, amirite?
The talking snake in the Garden of Eden.
Too many times it's taught as 'Fact', when in reality it isn't even 'Theory'. Very simply put, to say talking snakes are fact when it's fiction should bespeak some measure of hubris that's not good to have.
Name me one place where someone has broken the theory of relativity.
I'm not saying it can't be done, and since all knowledge, all facts and all theories in science, are provisional. So give me one example of someone breaking the theory of relativity, and you'll see yourself on the cover of very magazine in the country.
I'm going to guess that Rink would consider adaptation to be a thing of intention, rather than something inborn.
Still, whether a mutation is baleful, neutral, or beneficial depends on the conditions. Eyes to eyeless understandably sounds baleful to us, but to the salamanders that live in caverns with no light whatsoever, not having to keep maintaining eyes would give a slight edge when nutrients dipped below average, while keeping them would only help if the ceiling became flawed.
"Mutations are NEVER good"
It is logically impossible for this to be true. If (say) a point mutation in one direction were deleterious, the reverse mutation would necessarily be beneficial.
The only way there could be just "bad mutation" is if some agency with awareness of the potential outcome of the mutation stepped-in in every case to prevent the good ones.
I.e. there would have to be an intelligent designer at work. One who is unremittingly malevolent.
Let me paraphrase Rink's stament, as I read it:
"My bringing-upping says evolution is bunk, so I don't want to believe it, it's just a stupid shot in the dark [a 'theory']. On the other hand, adaption of species to the environment is very reasonable and is the key to existence. Adaption yes, evolution no."
Rink, a victim of his parents. What a shame the two sides of his brain will never meet in the middle.
Here speaks the voice of ignorance, using Darwinian language to refute Darwin, and not even realising the irony.
Seriously, it always surprises me that these people have managed to learn English literacy and basic typing skills, while at the same time being so fucking DUMB.
Actually, evolution is simply descent with modification which is an observable fact.
"Theory," in science, isn't a hunch or a guess. A "Theory" addresses the forces driving observed facts and their implication.
A "Theory" provides the how and whys of observed fact you ignorant moron.
Oops (the 5 is silent)
If some kind of critter cant adapt to changes in nature, it dont last long, its that simple.
Every great once-in-a-while there appears to be a hint, just a wee spark, of smarts, or understanding amongst one of them. A clue. The dawn of adaptation to the modern world. It's a damn slow process, but could it be that we are witnessing the very evolution of fundies, as they speak?
A bunch of other comments in that thread are FSTDT-worthy as well. It's like a parade of creationist lies and logical fallacies.
Misrepresentation of the laws of thermodynamics? Check.
Argument from incredulity? Check.
Using modern 'simple' single called organisms as examples? Check.
Irreducible complexity? Check.
Deceptive quote mining of actual scientists? Check.
Strawman arguments? Check.
Then there's THIS gem:
"Evolution is clearly correct when you don't know much about it."
Rink?
Asshole?
Adapting to change IS mutation, IS evolution, IS a fact.
But you're right about one thing--you're the simplest fool I can imagine.
It's true. Evolution is, at best, a theory.
Creationism, on the other hand, is at best a vague notion.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
