I find it almost comical how unbelievers will blame a God they don't believe in, but they will not let evolution take the blame for amputees not being able to heal.

Because evolution is a natural process, you blithering idiot!
It is not an almighty, omniscient, omnipresent, all-powerful individual that you imagine your god to be. And it is you who declare that this individual is aware of and responsible for everything.
I find it comical that you would blame your god and be too afraid to admit it.
One, nobody blames God. Rather his fan club for pushing impossible theories. That's different. And well, Evolution is a scientific THEORY. It's like blaming the law of conservation of matter for not making me rich.
How about the reason humans don't regrow limbs is we aren't salamanders, newts or other variety of lizard?
Wow, there I go... clouding the issue with facts again.
Er, I don't know a single unbeliever that blames God for anything.
And yea, we DO point to evolution as the reason we can't regrow limbs.
You're just making things up again. Or projecting. It's hard to tell which.
Well, regrowing limbs takes a lot of foodz and joulez that are highly impractical to obtain, so adapting that ability would be a disadvantage, and a waste of time considering the amount of people to whom it would really apply.
I think fingerprints regrow, though that's really like the way nails and hair grow.
Evolution isn't exactly finished yet. We may not be able to regrow limbs, but most complex organisms still possess phenomenal regenerative capacities. The fact that we can self-repair a hell of a lot, but by no means perfectly, is surely rather strong evidence for gradual improvement that is continuing even now, not perfect initial creation. Or is god going to release a patch some time soon?
Actually, it is evolution's fault, more or less. For regeneration to happen, the wound must remain exposed. So to heal the wound quickly, we sacrifice regenerative capabilities.
Still, one can't blame a natural process any more than one can blame God, Allah, Buddha, or the Easter Bunny. It's how it happens, and the buyoff is a faster healing time, if I recall correctly.
If both humans and salamanders evolved, then why can salamanders regenerate limbs yet humans can't? Surely regenaration would be a useful feature for humans. If the same process led to the creation of both organisms, why do salamanders have vastly different skill sets than humans?
evolution favors those with some reproductive advantage. A man or woman who has children before they lose limbs are not affected and those who lose limbs earlier maybe wont breed.
God on the other hand is supposed to be loving and benevolent. What excuse does he have for leaving one of his people damaged when with no real effort he could fix them ?
Unbelievers don't blame God for anything because he doesn't exist.
The question "why won't God heal amputees?" is directed towards believers as you insist God heals illness and injury. You also do this without any evidence of such an occurance.
Evolution is a biological process and humans aren't physically able to regrow lost limbs. This is funny, how?
That's because we don't credit the process of evolution with the sort of omnipotent magical powers that you credit god with. We don't blame gravity for drought in Africa and we don't blame magnetism for floods in Japan. They have no more relevance than evolution has to the healing of amputees.
Yet your god should be able to whip up a new arm or a new leg in a nanosecond, but he doesn't. Not ever, no matter how deserving the case. I wonder why, mmm?
blame ? natural processes resulted in an organism that would normally die from the loss of a limb and lacks the ability to regenerate a body part. Modern medicine learned how to save the life.
God on the other hand is presented as an all powerful , loving father who cares for his children. What father would not heal his child if he could ?
> but they will not let evolution take the blame for amputees not being able to heal.
Evolution is to blame for amputees not being able to heal. Unfortunately, it doesn't really care about our feelings, only our reproductive ability.
> If the same process led to the creation of both organisms, why do salamanders have vastly different skill sets than humans?
Reproductive isolation, differing environments, and a certain amount of randomness.
Why can't your god protect his believers from harm and amputation in the first place? Then assuming that he's sometimes absent for some reason, why can't he heal them when he's back? What causes you to assume that he must be present or exist? Claims?
If he could heal human fundamentalist retardation, why would I be an unbeliever?
Confused?
