Voodoo Comes to Church

Charm bracelet: a personal item of jewelry containing 'charms' which are used to ward off bad luck and evil spirits. Often used as a form of talisman: an item of jewelry infused with occult power, used for protection from bad spirits or for prosperity.

Mala beads: Mala beads are mysterious and 'magical' necklaces or meditation garlands that have been worn for thousands of years by yogis and occult practitioners from all over the world. Used by spiritual practitioners to chant the name of God, gods or certain specific deities. Commonly worn as a bracelet around the wrist, and often seen being worn
by many Christians.

Christians need to be very careful with the type of 'ethnic,' spiritual or other esoteric jewelry that they purchase to wear.

What may look like just a harmless bracelet, anklet, necklace or piece of jewelry could really be an occult talisman or charm that some witch or voodoo practitioner has invoked demonic spirits into/

Do yourself a favor and google the term 'voodoo bracelets.' You'll be shocked to see some of your own favorite cosmetic items pop up on the screen.

The Church of Jesus Christ needs to be aware that we are in a constant state of spiritual war. We are not here on a pleasure vacation. We are an occupying force who represent the Kingdom of God: a kingdom that is diametrically opposed to the kingdom of darkness.

Satan and his agents will not sit idly by while the church conducts its business. They are always busy, finding new and more inventive ways to impose evil into the lives of those who call on the Name of the Lord. Therefore, we must be alert like the scripture tells us:

"So that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes." [2 Corinthians 2:11]

As long as we're aware of how the enemy operates, we won't fall victim to his attempts to gain victory over us.

If you thought satan and demonic spirits were just lounging around twiddling their thumbs playing checkers all day while you live your life as a child of God: you have something else coming! The Bible lets us know that:

"Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." [1 Peter 5:8]

Don't let it be you!

This warning doesn't just apply to beaded bracelets and other jewelry. It equally applies to requesting prayer cloths from different ministries.

The prayer cloth is not a uniquely Christian phenomenon. Witches also use prayer cloths to transfer satanic and demonic energy as well.

The bible mentions that special handkerchiefs and aprons that were taken from apostle Paul's body were used as healing points of contact for others who were sick or demonized. [Acts 19:11-12]

But that was a unique occurrence. The writer of the scripture even went out their way to mention that those were SPECIAL miracles. In other words: NOT THE NORM.

Now every two bit sheister, shukster and TV preacher has a special cloth ministry. And if you're really faithful by sending in a "special" offering, some of them will even include a few drops of "special" holy anointing oil onto the prayer cloth. That way you have "special" added power!

Well guess what: witches, warlocks, sorcerers and occult practitioners use the exact same methods to impart curses and demonic energy into unsuspecting victims.

The Witches' Almanac, Issue 31: Spring 2012-Spring 201: Radiance of the Sun issue has a whole section on the power and effectiveness of using "prayer cloths."

The reason why so many "prophets/prophetesses" are flocking into the prophetic ministry these days is because that's the easiest way for witches, warlocks and voodoo priests/priestesses to infiltrate the Christian church.

They're like poisonous snakes hiding in the grass, waiting for the chance to strike at whoever gets close enough to get bitten. And many children of God are being bitten by these agents of the occult.

It's easiest for a voodoo priestess to pretend to be a prophetess and bewitch her followers this way, than to come outright in the garbs of a voodoo practitioner.

Giving prophetic utterances (fortune telling), imparting special prayer cloths (casting spells via clothing items or paper), promising financial blessings for those who give to their "ministry" (prosperity spells): all these are subtle ways that people who operate from demonic powers have successfully been able to infiltrate the church.

It's time to shut the door on these agents of Satan and kick them out of God's house for good!

Arm yourself with the right knowledge. I'm not saying every preacher using anointed prayer cloths are of the devil. I'm sure there are many who come from a genuine place. But I am warning you to be very careful and discerning.

Quit seeking esoteric and occult knowledge. All the power you need as a believer to live a very victorious life is found within the pages of the bible. All your answers to life's questions can be found there.

Become a student of God's word, and not merely a passive reader.

You also need a steady church home and congregation to become a part of. God calls certain individuals (mostly men) to be pastors over His flock.

A God-sent pastor has the divine insight, knowledge and ability to protect you from dangers you cannot see.

A Pastor's #1 mission is to watch over your soul and lead you to the word of God for your spiritual assistance.

And they can keep you from indavertently opening yourself up to demonic interference from dabbling in the occult, or dealing with those that do.

One of the reasons why so many Christians fall victim to witches in the pulpit is because they're not content with patiently waiting for God to deliver them from their troubles. Their impatience is causing them to run to Satan for what seems like a quick fix.

But what could look like a solution ends up being an even greater set of problems, and more bondage than they ever could've imagined.

Wait on the Lord, trust God and stand firmly on His word.

God never fails to honor His word. And he'll honor your faith too if you'll trust in Him.
