“I was INFURIATED when I could not find "IN GOD WE TRUST" ON THE COIN.”
Well, if you knew the history of that phrase, you might have spent a little more time looking.
Roosevelt had this weird idea that maybe money used to buy tobacco, liquor, and/or women shouldn’t force GOD to be part of the transaction. He took it off the money.
Congress went apeshit and they virtue signaled, making it mandatory on all US currency. So it’s gotta be there, somewhere.
"Who decides what goes on the new money???”
In this case, a law established by Congress to show they were good little doobees.
“I believe everyone in Congress should have a say!!”
THey do. It was voted on. That’s what everyone having a say means.
“This is just one more way our rights are being taken away”
Right… Right… Exactly which right guarantees that your religion is represented on the currency of this secular nation?
"Maybe no one else has seen the new dollars yet. What can we do??”
GOogle the coin. Probably says, somewhere, why they made the choice they did to put it where they did.
“This is as important as the war in Iraq as it is about taking away our religion!!”
Shhhhhhhhhhh! The Supreme Court says it’s NOT about your religion, it’s ‘ceremonial deism.’ If it was YOUR religion, it would violate the 1st Amendment! SCOTUS did their own virtue signaling to pretend their decision wasn’t just partisan, made-up-bullshit.
"When are we going to stand up and resist these kinds of things?”
PLease, please, please, please, PLEASE take the treasury department to court over this and make it CLEAR that it’s YOUR religion and YOUR right!
