No apparent, perceived, or claimed interpretation of evidence in any field, including history and chronology, can be valid if it contradicts the Scriptural record.

"can be valid if it contradicts the Scriptural record"
I don'tt know of any that has not been tainted by human hans, do you?
If you believe that god created the heavens and the earth, then the heavens and the earth are his primary work. Study of his work should therefore be foundational. Putting anything else in front of that is idolatry.
Stop reading that damn book and look around!
can be valid if it contradicts the Scriptural record.
That is why I have made it my mission in life to make sure insects are compatible with scripture. I rip off a pair of legs on all insects I encounter to make them biblically correct. Those damn satanic genes keeps messing up biblical truth!
1. The world is round.
2. The world is 4.5 billion years old.
3. The universe is around 15 billion years old.
4. Humanity originated in Africa.
5. All organisms on this planet have evolved, and we know this based on fossil and DNA evidence.
6. There is no evidence for Jewish slaves in Egypt or wandering in the desert.
7. There is no evidence for a global flood.
8. There is no evidence for the existence of Moses, Noah or Jesus.
9. The Gospels (both those included in the Bible and those left out) contradict one another.
10. There was no census done at the supposed time of Jesus' birth.
11. Christian myths resemble previous Pagan myths.
12. The Earth's strata shows that dinosaurs and humans never lived in the same time period.
Can you say FAIL?
I guess that we should all start calling bats 'birds', and ignoring those two extra legs on insects?
Fundie and logical.. two mutually exclusive terms.
Means nothing until you work out a coherent scriptual record.
How about we use "apparent, perceived, or claimed interpretation of evidence in all fields, including history and chronology, to be valid" while we wait for you to do that ?
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
So, hypothetically, if the bible said that the sky is pink and purple flying elephants bring good tidings, then that must mean it's true, huh? Sounds rediculous, and it's meant to. While nothing like this is in the bible, there are many things in there that are equally rediculous, not even from a scientific standpoint, but just a common sense one. This is why conservative fundamentalist and evangelical christianity will never evolve an intelligence past that of rock slime.
"No apparent, perceived, or claimed interpretation of evidence in any field, including history and chronology, can be valid if it contradicts the Scriptural record."
Except when it is. So, most of the time.
Confused?
