Evolutionists want to ban God.
Ban the bible, ban God, ban creation. So when do the laws pass to ban Christians from right to life? I can see it now: Hunting season, we have to control the Christian population so bag as many as you can.

Evolution says nothing about God one way or the other. Genesis runs counter to a great deal of science, not just evolution, so just disproving evolution wouldn't make Genesis possible.
Evolution runs counter only to a very literal interpretation of the Bible, a belief held by only a small minority of rabid fundamentalists, mainly in the US.

Hey, you said it, not us.

Except for the fact that I have seen many christians advocate death for some group or another. Abortion doctors, homosexuals, atheists and any one else that challenges their worldview.
As yet, I have seen very very few posts from atheists advocating a "thinning of the herd"
We prefer to let evolution take care of that particular issue.
CLUEBAT: Evolutionary theory doesn't give a shit about god, one way or the other. God isn't mentioned in "On the Origin of Species."
Well they certainly don't keep their own population in check, and keep trying to infect anything and everything with their logical fallacies.
While I've nothing against people believing whatever they want, the second they lash out at others because reality doesn't fit them, they've crossed the line. Things they can't directly control or take over they try to destroy, usually with rocks, fire, or (more recently) cluster-bombs and napalm, all in the name of 'gawd' and 'civilising them' and 'democracy'? Well, there's only one way to keep innocents safe then.
As a hostile, dangerous predator with little to no value nor genetic diversity, its probably in everyone's best interests to control the population before they ruin what's left of the ecology.
You'd just love that, wouldn't you? It would fit right in to your paranoid little fantasies. But, oh, that's right. The only people who ever call for the mass slaughter of others are Fundies, usually while salivating over their mythical rapture. The rest of us just want to be left alone, and to not have someone else's brand of religion forced on us.
I don't wish to ban God, or the Bible, or Christians for that matter.
What fundies consistently fail to realize is that their beliefs are just that, "their" beliefs.
They aren't shared by the vast majority of people on this planet, and more importantly, they aren't based on any hard facts or evidence. Just some collected writings from bronze/iron age tribesmen.
I look forward to the day the Biblical creation myth is relegated to the same status afforded the Sumerian, Egyptian, Greek, assorted African, Meso-American, and Australian aboriginal myths.
You know, I hadn't thought about it until they mentioned it, but now that they did, it does sound like a pretty good idea, doesn't it?
Seriously, though, paranoid much?
What makes me sad is that this is true to a good degree. If "those evil lefies" do take control, it'll be twice as bad for Christians as it is for us right now. If you want to know what I mean, go read Children of the Storm by Natasha Vins.
Religious intolerance holds momentum. If it shifts off where it is now, then it WILL flow onto Christian groups, farther than it ever has been against us.
Sounds great to me! Let me go get my hunting license! Bang, Bang, bang! Wow, got me three of them christians!
If we wanted to control the christian population we'd just ban marriage. Since fundies won't screw one another without it, they'll disappear in a single generation.
Hmm... must put that in the suggestion box next time I visit Supreme Headquarters, Atheist Global Government - Evolution Re-education Section (SHAGGERS).
Damn persecution complex...
Also, it seems the folks at YEC HQ didn't take Theistic evolutionists into account.
So when do the laws pass to ban Christians from right to life?
Sorry, but it is a very very long time ago I donned a toga and a laurel wreath, and enjoyed the sight of christians being mauled by lions in the colosseum.
Or in other words: We will NEVER do you the favour of active persecution. You WANT to play the 'martyr' card. You are jumping on the slightest reason so you can cry "Persecution!!!!!". And when you don't find any reason, you cry 'Persecution' anyway.
One of the central values of secular humanism is: Right to Life. Another value: Freedom of Religion.
We won't ban your pathetic book of fairy-tales. We just give the bible and religious fundies what they really deserve: Ridicule.
And when you get too nasty (for example by introducing your nonsense in science class), we fight back.
Why ban something so amusing? Banning something only makes it more interesting to some people.
Oh, maybe that's what you want?
For all we know, God might have started evolution. Not 6000 years ago, but a few billion years ago. As it is a very effective way of creating diversity and adaptation, an omniscient deity would probably like to use it.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
