[On a 14 year old boy being cited with a felony for taking porn to school]
The kid should have been arrested, pure and simple. Pornography is the trail to an immoral and Adulterate life. The earlier people are caught, the better it is for them.

Our bodies are perfectly made by God, so we have to cover them up and make sure no one sees them. Pictures of our perfectly-designed bodies are so ugly and horrible that they corrupt young people. People as young as 14 should be arrested for looking at pictures of our perfectly designed bodies, because they're that horrible.
I'm guessing fundies don't have any cognitive dissonance becasue their minds are only capable of proccessing one thought at a time, and each one takes hours to handle.
Charged with a felony for taking dirty pictures to school? For taking in a gun or drugs I would understand that -- but porn?!? Not that I favor porn for teens, but those are some seriously distorted priorities there.
At worst, that should be no worse than a Class C Misdemeanor (and frankly, I would be fine with it being just a matter for school discipline, not a criminal matter at all).

"Pornography is the trail to an immoral and Adulterate life."
adulterate - To make impure by adding extraneous, improper, or inferior ingredients.
You keep on using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
I agree with David D.G.. What screwed up priorities. A felony? Jeez!
Take some nudie pix to school, get charged with a felony. Sit at home in front of the tube watching murders and other violence, nothing.
I like the other guy, later, who bravely calls himself "anonymous":
I agree with the article. P0rn should be left where others have nothing to do with it. Espicially in school. Infact, It should actaully be left ALONE! For those kids, they must seek therapy. This is why I play family related games. I will have nothing to do with such nonsence. Not now, not ever.
You're command of the English language has already been remarked upon, so I'll leave it at this. If someone can't use the language properly most of the time, their opinion is worth less than someone who can actually communicate properly.
Okay, let's make this simple. By the time most boys are 14, they are well into puberty. Puberty, for boys or girls includes hormonal responses, which lead to sexual urges. Now, thanks to our fucked up country, 14 year olds can't have sex, despite their (quite possible) physical and mental readiness. As such, 14 year old boys look at porn. So the fuck what? Why do you care if they look at porn? Some decently made porn (read, porn without totally ridiculous (read: fake (wow I like nested parentheticals))models, perhaps with some plot to it) may actually be decent sex ed (sure beats the crap that our school systems show). I could probably ramble on, but Half-Life 2 Episode 1 comes out in, oh, 12 hours and I need some sleep...
Well, wait, what was he doing with it? Was he just sneaking a peak at some boobies in the john? Or was he bringing something from scatlovers.com to class and telling female classmates he wanted to do that to them? I mean, looking at porn by yourself is one thing, but using it to make other people uncomfortable is another.
My school buddies and I used to exchange porn at school. Noone ever caught us, or even cared that it was illegal, probably because of the guys bringing booze and weed to school. We sorta looked like the harmless wannabe gangsters.
This guy would throw every 100% red-blooded American boy in the can! Would he search the home of every parent of every male child, like Herod did? I thought girly magazines, carefully hidden from prying parents' eyes, were a part of every teen boy's coming-of-age. Only a gay communist would deny us that!
I'm surprised that he was also cited with assault for scratching that kid with a key. In my experience, that sort of thing is usually brushed off my school officials with the tired old excuse of your choice: "Kids'll be kids, it's his own fault for acting so weird, we'd do something if it was actually happening," etc. But I digress.
First, He's underage. Sorry, but if he can't buy alcohol, the same dispensation is taken FOR PORN. Second, since pornography is legal for adults, so it doesn't make sense what you say.
Confused?
