When will people learn? Homosexuality is wrong, won't make people happy and is a manifestation of a corrupt and sinful society. It is not something to be proud of or to flant.
P.S. Equal rights, not equal things (that's socialism, not a republic). They have the right to marry, for pete sake. If they want to marry the same gender, go to England, don't change this country! As Prop 8 showed, people like this country the way it is!

"Homosexuality is wrong, won't make people happy"
Homosexuality makes homosexuals happy....
"and is a manifestation of a corrupt and sinful society."
Or genetics, retard.
"It is not something to be proud of or to flant."
Much in the same way that one shouldn't "flant" their lack of intelligence.
"P.S. Equal rights, not equal things"
I agree to equal rights, which is why gays should be allowed to legally marry.
"They have the right to marry, for pete sake."
When did that happen?!
"If they want to marry the same gender, go to England, don't change this country!"
If black people want to be in the same schools as white people, they should go to England, don't change this country!
"As Prop 8 showed, people like this country the way it is!"
Prop. 8 was just in Cali, and didn't pass by a terribly wide margin, you dumbfuck.
people like this country the way it is!
Wanna go back just um, 40 years and say that about racial bigots?
I'm guessing you're pretty well off if you actually believe that IN GENERAL.
P.S. Equal rights, not equal things (that's socialism, not a republic). They have the right to marry, for pete sake. If they want to marry a different race, go up north, don't change Georgia! As the Civil War showed, people like this state the way it is!
Same argument, circa 1950.
IM SO FUCKING TIRED OF THAT STUPID EQUALITY ARGUMENT!!!
oops, sorry about the caps lock.
Anyway, to answer the first question, its going to take a really long time to get through your thick skull. Try meeting us half way.
Curiously, quite a number of the Fundie Christians I have known have been chronically upset while many of the homosexuals I've know seemed well-adjusted and content.
And, don't be too arrogant over the success of Prop. 8. It passed by a very small margin.
I can stand the stupidity. And even lying can be forgiven when one is too stupid to realize one is lying. But...
If you ever use my name in vain, again, I will have Jebus kill you and send you to Hell! You've been warned!! Don't make me punish you!!!
P.S. Prop 8 will either be thrown out by the California Supreme Court or, it will be voted down soon.
Obviously American homosexuals (or straight people for that matter) are welcome to come over here - mind you, given the choice I'd probably move to Spain or France purely for the weather. But on that note, isn't it a bit pathetic to openly admit that your country cannot and will not be able to deal with a certain group of people? There was a time people would move to America for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It's a sad state of affairs if you have to move away from there for the same reason now. :(
Same-sex marriage is not legal in England. Civil partnerships are, but the same is still true in California (despite the passage of Prop 8), so there would be no point in moving. I'm not trying to flant it, I'm just right.
@Wehpudicabok: Sorry to disagree slightly, but the scope of Civil Partnerships in the UK and Domestic Partnerships in California seems marginally different insofar as the CP in the UK really is a marriage in all but name. You're absolutely right, though, that Californians do have the option to opt for domestic partnership and, were they to move over here they would get the same status as civil partners. However, I gladly admit I didn't know that and am now wondering what all the fuzz with Prop 8 is about. Lol.
That being said, it's another good reason to move to Spain (or Holland, Belgium, Norway), where they aren't as timid as us Anglo-Saxons and went the whole way in terms of same sex marriage.
Homosexuality manifestly does make people happy you thick bastard. God, you drooling morons are making me sick today.
At least we've had some good news in the rest of the world. We were beginning to wonder, but now we know that all Americans can't be simpletons, since you've just voted for Obama.
You, nikkicompanies, you stupid numpty, you haven't the slightest idea of right and wrong as it applies to others, you're just an evil twat.
I hope you don't attempt to spread your cretinous genes, we humans don't need it.
yes because theres no gay marriage allowed in this country already.. on wait we have 2 states that allow it and a few more that are willing to recognize gay marriage too!
even if they can marry already its not marriage they chose or want.
that cartoon is awesome damen, where's it from?
Homosexuality is wrong
How so?
won't make people happy
You take away their rights to marry, to have families, to even be themselves, and then you wonder why their unhappy.
It is not something to be proud of or to flant.
Neither is ignorance.
They have the right to marry, for pete sake.
No they don't. You just took that right away.
If they want to marry the same gender, go to England, don't change this country!
Our ancestors left England because of oppression, idiot. America was built on the ideals of freedom for all peoples. Even the ones who are diffrent than you.
As Prop 8 showed, people like this country the way it is!
Prop 8 showed that people are ignorant, stupid, bigots who will belive anything a religious leader tells them without question. Does gay marriage really bother you that much?
If they want to marry the same gender, go to England, don't change this country!
If you want a country that legislates on the basis of religious ideals go to Iran--don't cripple this country.
@Wehpudicabok, xplicit_UK:
Unfortunately UK civil partnerships do have one down side compared to marriage. They are only guaranteed to be recognised _in_ the UK.
So while any same sex couple coming to the UK will automatically be considered civil partners with all the same rights as a married couple, any same sex couple leaving the UK can't count on the same.
France, for example, recognises marriages performed in other countries, but not civil partnerships.
Fun how much difference a name makes eh?
EDIT: not saying that CPs are bad btw. I'm hoping to get one myself one day, but here's hoping that the government either upgrades them to marriages or ensures that its CPs are recognised internationally.
The main problem that I have with CPs here in the UK is that the government insists on calling them "Civil Partnerships" instead of "marriages". Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that they give all the same benefits and it's great; but at this point it's an argument of principle. This kind of "equal but different" approach is unhealthy, and I'd like to think that society has learned this by now at least.
Civil Partnerships are a better name for legal purposes as "marriage" is a word drawn from religious roots.
Also Socialism and Republics are in different categories, Socialism is an economic system while a republic is a political one. The comparison you were looking for was socialism vs free market capitalism.
this is why Australia sucks. gay marriage and civil unions dont exist. de facto relationships are it. Fucking John Howard. Foreign same-sex marriages cannot be legally recognised here either. its not fair but our country is dominated by the religious, just like America. Only a few states even register relationships. We are so far behind Europe (although at least we are ahead of places like Zimbabwe!).
@jl
Further, if I understand correctly, a Civil Partnership isn't sufficient to allow for adoption either, as that whole bit is what got the Prop 8 ball rolling in the first place.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
