Almighty God punished sin time after time again in days of old. We are told how he rained down his wrath upon many wicked cities and civilisations - eg, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Egyptians, the Hittites, etc. He has wiped out millions of citizens in more recent times too - the Black Death, the Great Plague as punishment for witchcraft and devil-worship in Europe. And need I remind people of the terrible fate of the jews in World War II?

Meteorites are due to space objects passing in front of Earth's path. Disease? Since the microscope we've learned that bacteria and viruses are to blame -oh and sometimes our own DNA. Plagues? Environmental conditions not conducive to specific life forms -some species flourish during human or other plagues. The extermination of Jews during WWII? Conflict between religions taken advantage of.

Your god gets off free from all examples you listed. In fact the lack of interaction during these horrific events suggests that your god ignores human plight. So although god is not responsible for some of the most horrendous human conditions, uncaring is the most that can be said.

So all the christians that have died around the world since christianities inception, that was all due to sin, right? I mean, look at New Orleans, lots of christians died there. And the tsunami that hit Indonesia, they have a small christian population. And lets not forget all the christians in the Middle East who die daily at the hands of fundy muslims. Sounds to me like jehovah the benevolent sky fairy isn't all that benevolent after all. He kills indiscriminatley just because he's bored and has nothing else to do, like help the poor, the needy, the hungry, the sick, etc. There's a reason why both Jews in the OT and christians in the NT are told not to partake of blood; it's so your god can have it all. So he's a greedy bastard too.

Ah, so Hitler was an agent of God, carrying out his holy will, eh? Well, there you have it. Proof that God is a Nazi. And Nazis are EVIL. Thus contradicting the fundies' phrase 'God is Love'. If God is EVIL, he's a contradiction to himself, ergo, he doesn't exist.

Just suppose in the (hopefully near) future, an anti-Hitler rises to power (hopefully in the US); democratically elected, and wields power much like an ordinary president - but is ULTRA-Atheist. He loathes & detests Fundy Xtians, to the extent that he has them rounded up into concentration camps, used as slave labour, have experiments done on such, and ultimately has such thrown into incinerators - ALIVE (no expensive gassing for them!)?

But of course, that's all right, because God didn't intervene to stop this evil wrought upon his Chosen - just as he did nothing to stop the Holocaust in WWII. After all, who are WE to question his actions (or lack of them)?! It's all part of God's great design after all, eh?! Punishing the Jews, eh? They must have committed such a terrible, unpardonable crime to warrant 6 million being exterminated in such a way, eh?

Or are you merely one of those types of Fundies who's also a tinfoil hat-wearing Conspiracy Theorist who believes the BS contained in the 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion'. Listen to Tom Metzger, much?

One more thing, just to remind you: Jesus was a Jew too.
