Many years ago, I used to wonder why there were loads of documentaries about Hitler, WWII & so on. I wonder no longer today, considering how so many can allow themselves to be so ignorant about modern history.

Hmm. FDR, Winston Churchill, and Charles de Gaulle were bourgeois liberals. Good communists, on the other hand, did all they could from September 1939 to June 1941 to stage strikes and obstruct the Allies' "imperialist war" when trying to defend themselves against Nazi aggression. That only changed the moment that Stalin finally realized Hitler wasn't his ally.
The only reason you think that 'bourgeois liberals' work with Nazis is because you're an extremist. Your dimness has created a false dichotomy where those that hold differing views to yours are lumped together, regardless of their actual views. Liberals don't end to support far-right idiocy, but they don't tend to support the regressive, intolerant nature of the left. Unfortunately, you are too blinkered to see the anti-fascism of liberals because you cannot take any dissent from your strict line.

Do you have regular things like this said by politicians or even local authorities over there ("over there over there",, oh sorry, to many old movies, WW2 was really the most musical war) talking like this? Cause I frequent liberal (truthful) sites from America that find no shortage of this bullshit to report daily, they have to cull stuff out because it's only half asinine.
I've brought this up because we're hearing there's a rise in right wing rhetoric and support for racist issues in Europe.
