I think this is a bad idea considering how badly public schools present "evidence" for evolution, but it could have a positive result in breaking up the monopoly that evolutionist have. This might also allow young minds to see the truth of the Gospels

president who believes in Creationism, who in turn was voted in - twice - by Christian Conservatives who believe in Creationism, I'd say you've fucked up your own educational agenda. Yep, you & your ilk, jeffblew101(men), have had a lesson in Hubris: how you made teaching Creationism in your own country's schools not only illegal, but unconstitutional.

Moral: Hindsight isn't 20-20, you know. You made your Evolutionary bed, fundies, you've gotta lie in the fucking thing in perpetuity. You have ultimately proved Evolution is fact, and Creationism is lies. You've got no bugger to blame but yourselves. Deal with it.

For this you'd have to seperate an entire course and dedicate it solely to the origin of life, seperate from any scientific inquiry to discuss it in such terms.

Science deals entirely in observable facts and extrapolates from there. Discussing religious texts, which are not based on observable facts but rather supposition and outright fabrication, is counter-productive to the very nature of the scientific process and has no place in any related courses.

Evolution isn't the 'origin' of life but rather observations on how it has adapted over the centuries and millenia. We've a gap in our theory due to a period where we were unable to observe the facts but many more modern examples are sound, even irrefutable.

I've no issues with available courses on Theology in the school curriculum, particularly if the available material is expansive enough to include so many religions, but confusing it for a provable fact-based theory is dishonest and outrageous.

For the umpteenth time: evolution is NOT about the origin of life, but about the diversification of life.
You want abiogenesis, stupid, and it's barely a theory, more like a bunch of hypotheses.

If you think there is "evidence" for evolution, then yes; the public school that YOU went to definitely presented it badly. However; most schools, public or not, manage to present clear, basic facts for the diversity of life, which most students manage to grasp fairly easily.

The young minds might also see the truth of the Bhagavad Gita, the Poetic Edda, the Vinaya Pitaka, the Koran, the Satanic Bible or the Discworld.

Why? Because you brought it up, stupid!

You guys want your ideas taught in classrooms, eh? Then you're going about it all wrong. You don't pass laws FORCING schools to teach them. You collect evidence make a hypothesis, and submit it to scientific journals. If they reject it, it'll be because they don't find it convincing, not because you're challenging any "monopoly." The scientific community isn't like your churches. They don't just want to be accepted as right by the gullible masses, they want to ACTUALLY BE RIGHT. They have to be, because their ideas are applied to the real world. If aerodynamic theory was wrong, airplanes wouldn't fly. If the theory of gravity was wrong, we wouldn't be able to use And if the theory of evolution was wrong, antibiotics wouldn't work, gene research would be useless, and animal breeding would be impossible. So if you really have found an error in their theories, they won't try to silence you. They'll THANK you.

All it takes is just one precedent, and any subsequent attempts are completely fucked. Not for nothing do lawyers say 'Get it down in writing'. Then the only possible way to overturn said law(s) is to overrun the Supreme Court, Capitol Building & White House by force of arms:
