LOL, the shrill hysteria in response to a couple of my comments, taken completely out of context, is so typical of village atheists today.
This is part of what woke me up from my atheistic cloud of deliberate ignorance: it has been decades since an atheist with the thoughtfulness of a Bertrand Russel has had any traction among atheists and little worth consideration remains.
This void of reflective thought has left most of atheisms warehouse of considered responses to monotheism almost entirely empty.
Most of this is because of the fact that those who get the most applause from your rank and file are not interested in really understanding what theists are trying to express, but are only interested in mockery, sarcasm, lampooning and generally acting like a juvenile at his first booze party.
There is no point in trying to explain either of the two statements quoted as there is such little comprehension already that it is plainly a waste of time for me to try.
And so, atheism continues its march to oblivion as already the majority of mankind accepts the God of Abraham (though we still seem determined to kill each other into the foggy future).
But even our wars on each other fail to slow our numerical advance.
Within 100 years, atheism will be regarded as no more than a quaint little notion from a time of foolish self-destruction, the Culture of Death.
In Truth it is already plainly brain-dead and the future belongs to the children of Abraham, physical and spiritual.
