I don’t have a silver bullet tactic for suddenly making low-information Americans aware that all the same-sex parenting propaganda—and more broadly our growing acceptance of non-traditional parenting—is really a cover for systematic abuse. My hunch, however, is that it might be time simply to drop all the masks, put away our strategies, and just state the uncensored truth.

"you'd rather kids go parent-less and miserable, growing up wards of the state, then put them in a loving family because you think same-sex marriage is icky"
Like the story of the father who wouldn't allow those male lifeguards to save his drowning daughter 'cause "being touched by male strangers would dishonor her!"
Robert, how many same sex couples are in your circle of friends? How many of those have children? How many have abused those children? I suspect the percentages are zero, zero, and zero, so you do not have any pipeline to "truth". And of course you know that we can dig up many, many examples of child abuse aided and abetted by religious principles, don't you? Be careful in case that "truth" bites you in the ass.

All you would have to do is broadcast it on Fox, where all the low information voters are watching. But Fox is where that propagand is being broadcast, so that would never happen.

That's because it's a flat lie. And a really well-known one that has been repeatedly debunked.

So what's stopping you, then? Because for the last several years you Teabaggers/Neo-Cuntservatives etc have been coming up with all the excuses in the world other than the actual reason: There's an ebil darkie in the White House and you don't like it.
You've been sugar-coating things for so long, why let we 'Liberals' stop you now? Other than if you were to 'drop all your masks & put away your strategies' now, you would make the GOP's candidates so unelectable - infinitely worse tham post-late 2012 - that the Democrats would be in for ever and ever RAmen.
The on;y 'Silver Bullet' is the very last one in your arsenal: and it's your Aspirin; as in .50 Cal. >:D
Good luck with that, as most people have seen through the myriad of lies told by the homophobes and will need to be convinced otherwise by strong evidence. The claim that homosexuality has been used to cover up for systematic abuse is weak and studies are now coming out linking children raised by same sex parents with being just as well raised as those in a more common nuclear family.
Your head is so far up your arse that you can't see that the public tide is against you.
Whoever taught all these wilfully ignorant people the term "low-information" was a genius. An evil genius, but still. Nobody who says that about their opponents will ever consider an alternate point of view.
It is the rhetorical equivalent of sealing yourself in a lead box.

The term was originally used by liberals to describe those who think Obama never released his birth certificate, or Clinton was president during 9-11, or Hillary killed Vince Foster, the world is cooling off, we are unable to date rocks, Iraq was about to attack the US with nukes etc. Conservatives apparently were hurt so badly by this term that they used it to describe liberals.
Confused?
