The EU wants a political leader/
Muslims want the Mahdi.
Jews want their promised Mesiah.
Wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and tsunamis.
The slow but deliberate breakup of european and American freedoms...
the impending Market crash, the housing bubble bust.
Nukes in the hands of madmen and weak leaders who are afraid to oppose them.
The future isn't looking too bright.
Everything seems to be leading the world towards a savior complex-the perfect conditions to set a single man in charge of it all. Hitler rode to power this way, so will the AC.

Everything seems to be leading the world towards a savior complex
Good thing only the fundies are dumb enough to fall for something like that, huh?
You left out the Christians, who are equally obsessed with waiting for a saviour rather than actually trying to fix anything for themselves. Oh, but I'm sure that was just an oversight on your part, and that your particular saviour will actually be the righteous one, and not some genocidal control freak like all those other saviours.
Nukes in the hands of madmen Oh, you've realised what Bush is then?
Wars and rumors of wars
Where does this line come from? I've heard it a lot, but it doesn't make any sense, except as a historical allusion. Information travels quickly and freely enough now that I can't imagine hearing "rumours of war", rather than seeing actual footage on CNN...
Wars and rumors of wars
Where does this line come from?
Mark 13:7, where Jesus discusses the End Times.
Reiterated in Matthew 24:6.
Hitler rode to power this way, so will the AC.
Don't these people realize that the term "Antichrist" appears in NONE of the end-times prophecies in the Bible?
Not Daniel.
Not Mark 13.
Not Matthew 24.
Not, even, Revelation.
None of them.
"Antichrist" was a term used in the letters of John, to refer to religious leaders alive AT THE TIME THE LETTERS WERE WRITTEN, who claimed to be the Messiah but weren't Jesus.
The EU wants a political leader
We already have those, thank you. There has been some discussion about whether the EU should have an actual president (a single person who leads the EU), but I'm not sure we actually want that.
Muslims want the Mahdi.
Jews want their promised Mesiah.
And Christians want their messiah back. These do not have anything to do with the leadership of the EU.
Wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and tsunamis.
...have always been among us, although these days any rumours are easily verified.
The slow but deliberate breakup of european and American freedoms...
...because decisionmakers overreact to the threat of terrorism. Yeah, that sucks.
the impending Market crash, the housing bubble bust.
Isn't the economy always about to crash sooner or later?
Nukes in the hands of madmen and weak leaders who are afraid to oppose them.
Yeah, I don't like the situation in Iran and North Korea either, assuming that's what you are referring to.
The future isn't looking too bright.
Well, it doesn't look too bad. Problems are a part of life.
Everything seems to be leading the world towards a savior complex-the perfect conditions to set a single man in charge of it all. Hitler rode to power this way, so will the AC.
Oh yes, I almost forgot you were a nutter. I don't know if Americans have a saviour complex, but I'm not seeing one here in the EU. We don't expect one person to suddenly emerge and miraculously fix all our problems for us.
"The EU wants a political leader"
The opposite of reality
"Muslims want the Mahdi.
Jews want their promised Mesiah."
As they have for centuries
"Wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and tsunamis."
As they have for centuries
"The slow but deliberate breakup of european and American freedoms..."
Globally, the individual has probably never had more rights at any time other than the present.
"the impending Market crash, the housing bubble bust."

"Nukes in the hands of madmen and weak leaders who are afraid to oppose them."
No more so than at any other point in nuclear history
The EU already has a political leader, Jan Fischer. I'm guessing the poster is talking about the 'official' President of the EU position proposed in the Lisbon treaty. An entirely ceremonial position that has already existed for many years in an unofficial form? what a terrifying prospect, I guess this is the end for freedom.
Confused?
