Interclass marriages usually lead to the poor exploiting the rich. 2. Interracial marriages aren't looking out for the kids. If I were dictator people would be free to marry any consenting adult(s), and marriage -- or the lack of it -- would not carry any legal or social advantage or disadvantage.

Fewer and fewer get married over here, they just live together indefinitely. Some get married after having a few children, when they realize that the inheritance laws are in favor of marriage.

That pleases me greatly, and I thought I should post to let yall know that my view has changed somewhat. While I still believe in all the principles I've laid out, I no longer feel that the government is responsible enough to be in charge of enforcing them. Marriage has deteriorated (progressed) to the point where it is meaningless, and thus should be completely unrecognized by the state.
