(Still talking 'bout FSTDT!)

Those who pretend to hate us really hate the message. For it is unbelief in the Word of God that condemns men to an eternity in hell. It's when we repeat the words of Jesus as He shows the depravity of man, that they hate the message (of course they then hate the messengers too)

It's when we remind them of the hoplessness of their efforts and all the work is complete in Christ.

It's when the Light of the Word preached here, penetrates into the deep dark holes they have crawled into for security, that the fundie garners their most violent tirades. For they love darkness more than the Light.

Are we so different from them? No we were once great sinners worthy of death. But we have humbled ourselves and accepted the free gift of salvation from Jesus.

Are we better then? Certianly not. For if we boast of anything, its of what Jesus has done for poor wretches like us. He alone saves.

Our joy is in being conformed to Him. To shed the sinful desires, to be like Him by the power of the Holy Spirit. They hate the thought that they cannot do it themselves. To be dependent on God is abhorrant to them. And then to see His patience with those...hypocritical, immature, stumbling, imperfect christians....ugh!

Truly they live in darkness and are blind. Do not pity them, Pray for them. That they may see and join us in real life, fellowship and peace.
